This one surprised me. I expected something super dusty and grandma-ish, but nope, it’s soft, haunting, and weirdly addictive. The ozonic notes make it feel airy, almost like a cold blue sky, while the vanilla warms everything up. It’s not trying to be sexy in a loud way, but it’s very intimate and beautiful. Kinda reminds me of the feeling I wanted from some niche powdery scents, but smoother. Longevity is excellent on me, and I kept sniffing my scarf the next day.
I love this. Oud for Grace is so smooth it almost doesn’t feel like a typical oud scent at all. No barnyard, no harsh medicinal vibe, just this deep woody warmth with sandalwood and a little vanilla rounding everything out. The bergamot in the opening keeps it from feeling too heavy, then it gets super creamy on skin. Feels expensive in the best way. Performance is great too, I get a full day with a nice scent bubble. Def one of Initio’s most wearable ouds.

This is such a beautiful balance of fruity and creamy. I mostly notice raspberry in the opening, then orris and musk make it soft, powdery, and super elegant. Not vintage powder though, more modern and plush. It smells feminine without being sugary or basic. Tbh I expected something louder, but I actually love how smooth it is. It projects nicely for a few hours then sits closer, but the longevity is still great. If you want something classy, romantic, and a little different from the usual designer fruity scents, try this.
Okay this one got me immediately. The fig here is so smooth and pretty, not green or dusty, more like creamy fruit skin with a soft woody drydown. I usually find Roja perfumes a bit too formal, but this feels modern and wearable while still being fancy. It has that effortless “signature scent” quality where people notice you smell amazing but can’t figure out what it is. Performance is excellent on me, like all day with a nice scent bubble for the first few hours. 5/5 easy.
This smells like money in the best way. Not flashy sweet like BR540, more like dark woods, soft vanilla, and clean oud blended so well that nothing sticks out weirdly. I sprayed it before dinner and kept getting little whiffs the whole night, which is my favorite kind of performance. Strong but not suffocating if you go easy. It feels unisex to me, but definitely bold. I’d wear this when I want to feel put together and slightly intimidating lol.

I get that airy ozonic opening first, then orange blossom, then a soft vanilla drydown that is ridiculously smooth. It’s feminine to me but not girly at all. More graceful, like someone who doesn’t need to prove anything. Performance is better than I expected too, around 6 hours with a gentle trail. Def not basic, and that’s why I love it.

Tbh L'Heure Bleue is why Guerlain has the reputation it does. It’s elegant but not boring, sweet but not sugary, vintage but still wearable. I even get a little modern smoothness from the ambroxan, but it doesn’t ruin the classic feel. Projection is moderate, which I actually like because this would be too much if it was beast mode. 5/5 easily, it smells like perfume as an art form.

Elysium Absolue Pour Femme is gorgeous. I get a blast of orange oil and pink pepper at first, super bright and fizzy, then the fruit comes in softer and rounder. It never turns syrupy on me, which I really appreciate. There’s this airy musk/ambergris thing happening that makes it feel clean but still sensual. Perfect for when you want to smell expensive without smelling like you tried too hard. I wore it during the day and it still felt right at night. Really versatile for such a luxe scent.
