This is probably one of the more wearable oud scents I’ve tried. If scary medicinal oud puts you off, don’t worry, this is much softer. The bergamot keeps it from feeling too dark at first, then the guaiac wood gives this warm smoky-woody thing that I really enjoy. It’s not a compliment monster like BR540 type scents, but it feels more mature and put together. I’d rate it high because it’s genuinely beautiful, just maybe a touch too polite for the price.
This is really nice if you like oud but don’t want the super barnyardy stuff. Oud for Grace feels smooth and polished, with a little bergamot brightness at the start and then mostly creamy sandalwood/oud on me. It’s warm without being too heavy, which I appreciate. Kinda gives rich hotel lobby vibes lol. My only issue is that it doesn’t feel wildly unique for Initio prices, like I wanted a bit more drama. Performance is solid though, around 7 hours with moderate projection.
Elysium Absolue Pour Femme is super smooth. The fig stands out most to me, mixed with a soft sandalwood base that makes the whole thing feel creamy and calm. It’s not loud at all, more like a close, classy scent bubble. I love this for daytime when I want to smell expensive but not like I’m trying too hard. Minor flaw: the fruity top disappears faster than I want, and then it becomes more of a musky skin scent. Still really beautiful though.
This is really pretty in that polished Roja way. I get a juicy raspberry/cassis opening, but it doesn’t go full candy or shampoo, which I appreciate. The musk underneath makes it feel clean and expensive, kinda like you just put on a silk blouse. My only issue is the price vs wow factor… it smells lovely, but I wouldn’t call it mind-blowing. Performance is solid on me, around 7 hours, with moderate projection. Very easy to wear and def more elegant than playful.
At first I thought L'Heure Bleue was too powdery and serious, but it really grew on me. The drydown is the best part, all soft vanilla and a clean airy ambroxan thing that makes it feel less heavy than I expected. It’s cozy but also a little mysterious. I wouldn’t call it sexy in a loud way, more like quietly charming. Projection is moderate for the first couple hours then it sits closer. Minor flaw for me is the opening can be a bit sharp, but the drydown totally saves it.
Tbh this smells like something my most stylish aunt would wear, and I mean that as a compliment. It’s not trendy at all, no Delina sparkle or BR540 sweetness, just this soft orange blossom with creamy vanilla underneath. Super graceful. I do think it needs the right outfit or mood though, because with jeans and a hoodie it feels a bit too fancy for me. Performance is solid, not beast mode, but it hangs around. I’d give it 4 stars because it’s beautiful, just not super versatile.
This one is insane in the best way. I usually struggle with patchouli because it can go muddy or too vintage, but here it feels rich, clean, and really smooth. I get patchouli, dry woods, and a soft resin vibe that makes it feel cozy but still elegant. It’s not trying to be mass appealing, which I love. More mysterious than pretty. Lasts forever on my scarf too. Def a special occasion scent for me, but I’d honestly wear it daily in winter.
Tbh I didn’t expect to like this as much as I do because the original La Vie est Belle can be a lot on me. This one still has that sweet DNA, but the black cherry makes it way more fun and the pink pepper gives the opening a little pop. The drydown is creamy vanilla with a darker woody edge, and it smells expensive. Kinda reminds me of the cherry trend but more designer-polished, less niche-weird. Projection is strong but not rude if you go easy. Absolute love.
This is gorgeous. If you like patchouli but want it dressed up, Patchouli by Memo is basically that. It has an earthy opening, then gets warmer and smoother, almost amber-like on me. Not sweet in a cupcake way, more like deep skin warmth. It kinda reminds me of something Tom Ford would do, but less loud and more refined. I kept smelling my wrist all day. Projection is strong for the first few hours, then settles beautifully. 5/5 easy.

Tbh I expected it to be stronger since Initio usually goes beast mode, but this one is more controlled. Lasts well, maybe 6-8 hours, but projection calms down pretty fast. Still, it’s very good… just not sure I’d pay full bottle money unless I was obsessed.
I love the drydown on this. The vanilla is subtle, not cupcake sweet, just enough to soften the cedarwood and oud. It’s woody, smooth, and kinda sexy in a quiet way. I could see this being amazing on a cold night or dressed up for dinner. It doesn’t scream across the room, but people nearby will notice. My small complaint is the opening is a little sharp for the first 10 minutes, then it gets beautiful.
This smells like a luxury hotel lobby if it had a fruity twist. The orange oil opening is bright and fresh, then the raspberry comes in softly, not jammy or sticky. The ambergris gives it that airy expensive vibe Roja does so well. I really enjoy wearing it because it feels put together and feminine without screaming. That said, I wish it had a bit more personality. It’s very good, just not a huge statement scent. Lasts about 6 hours on me, which is fine but not beast mode.
I was expecting something brighter, but this is actually more musky and smooth than sparkling. The lychee gives it a cute juicy touch at first, then I mostly get pink pepper and musk. It kinda reminds me of those modern fruity florals like Delina’s cleaner cousin, but way less rosy and way more restrained. I like it a lot, especially because it feels feminine without being sweet overload. Projection is decent for the first couple hours, then it chills out. Gorgeous, just maybe a little too safe for the Roja price tag.

Okay wow, this is the patchouli fragrance I wanted so many others to be. Deep, earthy, a little smoky-woody, but never dirty in a bad way. It has this warm polished base that makes it feel luxurious, like old leather chairs and expensive incense without being heavy. I wouldn’t call it a crowd pleaser like BR540 or Delina, but if someone loves niche perfumes, they’ll get it. Projection is noticeable but not obnoxious. Total 5 star for me, I’d buy a backup.
Patchouli by Memo smells like someone with amazing taste and zero need to prove anything. It’s earthy, warm, slightly woody, and so smooth it almost feels creamy. No screechy synthetic vibe, no weird basement smell, just classy patchouli. I don’t find it overly masculine or feminine either, it sits right in the middle. Super easy to wear if you like darker scents. It’s pricey, yeah, but tbh the quality feels there. I sprayed once and still caught whiffs 7 hours later.
