This is one of those perfumes that makes patchouli feel expensive. I get this deep earthy patchouli, a little resinous warmth, and something kinda woody that keeps it grounded. It’s not loud in an annoying way, but people will notice it. Reminds me a bit of those niche dark amber scents, but less sweet and way smoother. I’d wear this at night, black outfit, cold weather, done. Total 5/5 for me because it smells confident without trying too hard.
L’Eau Papier is such a comfort perfume for me. The white musk is soft and fluffy, but not laundry detergent-ish, and the mimosa adds this tiny sunny sweetness that keeps it from being too plain. It kinda reminds me of sitting by a window with a book and clean sheets nearby. Sounds dramatic lol but that’s the vibe. Projection is gentle, so don’t expect compliments across the room, but people close to you will notice. I find it super personal and beautiful.
This is very good, but you have to like loud sweet scents. The cherry liqueur note is rich and syrupy, almost cough syrup for the first 10 minutes, but then it smooths out into vanilla and cedar and becomes super cozy. I was scared of the oud but it’s not scary at all, just adds a darker edge. Projection is pretty strong on me for the first few hours, so I wouldn’t wear this to the office. For nights out though? Absolutely.
This is like La Vie Est Belle went out for cocktails lol. I get a big cherry opening with pink pepper giving it a little sparkle, then the patchouli comes in and keeps it from being too candy-ish. It’s sweet for sure, but not childish. I do wish the cherry stayed brighter longer because after a few hours it turns more vanilla-woody on me. Still really nice though, and way more fun than the original LVEB in my opinion.

I thought this would be another basic cherry trend release, but it surprised me. It’s plush, sweet, and kinda sexy without going full Lost Cherry dupe. The black cherry is more jammy than tart, and the cocoa in the drydown is such a nice touch. My small complaint is that it’s a little heavy, so in warm weather it might be too much. But in fall/winter this smells expensive and cozy. Lasts all evening on clothes too.

I wanted this to be a big juicy cherry bomb, but it’s more like sweet cherry liqueur over the usual La Vie est Belle warmth.
