This is one of those perfumes that smells expensive from the first spray. The vetiver gives it a dry, crisp backbone and the leather is smooth, dark, and super chic. I get a little iris too, which makes it less aggressive and more dressed-up. It’s not sweet, not crowd-pleasing in a basic way, but I’ve gotten compliments every time I wore it. Feels perfect for colder weather, black coat, nice boots, that whole vibe. Beast mode? Not quite, but very solid and classy.
Wow, this one surprised me. I expected something loud and animalic, but it’s actually super wearable. The iris is creamy and elegant, and the leather feels soft, almost suede-like. There’s some patchouli in the background giving it depth, but it doesn’t take over. It lasts forever on me, like I can still smell it the next morning on my scarf. I wouldn’t call it safe blind buy territory because it has personality, but if you’re into refined leather scents, this is exceptional.
Dallachaï feels different from the usual nuclear sweet Montale stuff, and I mean that as a compliment. It still performs like a beast, but the scent is smoother and more balanced. The passionfruit gives it this bright weird twist, then the cardamom and musk pull it back into soft spicy territory. I kept smelling my sleeve all day. It’s not a safe blind buy if you hate spices, but if you like warm saffron scents, this is seriously worth trying.
This is gorgeous. I was scared the clove would be too loud because clove can go full dentist office on me, but here it’s smooth and spicy in the best way. I get saffron, amber, and this soft musky drydown that feels expensive. It kinda reminds me of a spiced version of those sweet amber Montales, but less basic and more interesting. Perfect date night scent imo. It’s warm, cozy, and a little mysterious without being heavy.

Very Montale performance too, I got a solid 8+ hours and people definitely noticed it. It feels unique but still super wearable. Honestly a 5/5 for me.

Tbh Montale can be hit or miss for me because some of them go screechy, but Be My Plum is stunning. The pink pepper opening is bright and sparkling, then the plum comes in fresh and tart, almost green instead of jammy. What really makes it special is the cashmere musk drydown, it gets cozy and soft without losing that fruity bite. It feels modern and a little mysterious. Lasted through my work day and I could still smell it on my scarf the next morning. Absolutely full bottle worthy.
