Dallachaï surprised me because it’s not just another beast mode amber bomb. I get saffron, clove, and a soft amber base, with this fruity brightness popping in and out. It kinda reminds me of a spicy niche version of those fruity ambers everyone is doing, but less sweet than something like BR540-inspired stuff. It wears warm and a little mysterious. My only complaint is the drydown gets a bit musky-flat after a few hours. Still really good and def worth sampling.
This is such a weird little beauty. I was expecting straight chai spices, but the saffron and musk make it smoother and kinda sexy. The cardamom is def there, warm and cozy, but the passionfruit keeps it from smelling like a candle. On me it lasts around 7 hours and projects pretty well for the first couple. Not an everyday dumb reach for me, but I love it when I want something different. Slightly synthetic in the opening, but I can forgive it.
This is honestly very pretty. On me it’s mostly creamy coconut, tart plum, and that clean cashmere musk thing. The oud is there but more like a shadow, not aggressive or smoky. I love how it balances sweet and fresh-ish, because a lot of Montales go way too syrupy on my skin. Be My Plum still has that loud Montale DNA though, so spray lightly unless you want to announce yourself. My only complaint is it gets a little repetitive after a few hours, but the scent itself is super wearable.
Be My Plum is kinda fun because it sounds like it would be a cute fruity vanilla thing, but it’s actually moodier. I get a lot of plum and vanilla sugar, with this musky woody base that keeps it from smelling like a body spray. It’s sweet, but there’s a slightly sour green edge that I love. Reminds me a little of those fruity-oud Montales, but smoother than some of them. Projection is strong for the first couple hours, then chills out. I’d wear this on a night out, not really to the office.
This one is gorgeous. The Sicilian lemon pops right away and then it melts into warm amber and soft woods. It’s fresh at first but the drydown is where it gets really good, kinda glowing and sweet without being dessert-like. I kept smelling my wrist all day. It has that Montale intensity but doesn’t feel screechy or synthetic to me, which is rare because some of their bottles can be a lot. Easy 5 stars, especially if you like fresh scents with depth.
Tbh I don’t hear enough people talk about Pure Gold. Everyone goes for Intense Cafe or Roses Musk, but this one is so wearable and pretty. It’s apricot, vanilla, and soft musk on me, like a creamy fruity cloud. Not screechy, not syrupy, just smooth. I wore it to work and got two compliments before lunch, which almost never happens with my office-safe scents. It has that Montale lasting power but behaves nicely. Easily full bottle worthy.
This is such a mood booster. The mandarin orange gives it this bright sparkle at first, then the apricot comes in and makes everything feel warm and velvety. I don’t get much patchouli in a dirty way, it’s more like a smooth base that keeps it from being too simple. Performance is great on clothes, like next day great, but on skin it’s still comfy. If you like fruity musks that smell clean and luxurious, try this. It’s honestly beautiful.
Pure Gold is gorgeous. I get mostly apricot and musk, with a little creamy vanilla in the drydown. It’s not loud like some Montales, which I actually appreciate because it feels more classy and wearable. There’s a clean fruity softness here that reminds me a tiny bit of a softer designer fruity musk, but way more refined. I wore it to dinner and kept catching little whiffs from my scarf all night. 5/5 for me because it’s pretty, feminine, and super easy to reach for.

I expected a juicy plum bomb, but this is more polished and a bit weird in a good way. The pink pepper pops right away, then the green plum gives it this tart bite, and the vanilla sugar softens everything without turning it into dessert. It feels unisex to me, maybe leaning sweet but not girly-girl. Performance is great, typical Montale, but I do think the oud/musk combo can feel a little synthetic if I overspray. Still, I keep reaching for it because it smells different from the usual fruity perfumes.
This is decent, but I expected more from Memo tbh. The leather is smooth and kinda polished, with a dry iris thing going on that makes it feel classy rather than rugged. I also get some earthy patchouli/vetiver in the background, which keeps it from being too pretty. My issue is it just doesn’t really stand out on me… smells expensive, sure, but also a bit flat after the opening. Performance is okay, maybe 6 hours, projection is moderate. Nice if you want a refined leather, but for the price I’d rather wear something with more personality.
I really like this one. The green plum is tart and juicy at first, not candy-sweet, and then the oud creeps in and makes it feel darker and more Montale-ish. I was scared the coconut would make it sunscreeny but it’s pretty soft, more creamy in the background. Def not a safe blind buy if you hate oud, but it’s not super barnyard either. Lasts forever on my hoodie and about 8 hours on skin. Only flaw is the opening can feel a tiny bit sharp from the pink pepper.
I’d honestly call this a signature scent candidate if you like noticeable perfumes. The vanilla and amber are so smooth, but the citrus keeps it from becoming heavy or boring. It smells confident, clean, a little sweet, and just super put together. I wore it out once and two people asked what I had on, so yeah, it does its job lol. Performance is beastly but still wearable if you don’t overspray. One of those fragrances that makes you feel dressed up instantly.
Tbh this might be one of my favorite Montales. Intense Starry Nights has that classic big performance, but the scent itself is smoother than a lot of their stuff. I get mostly bergamot, white musk, and vanilla, and together it smells bright, fluffy, and slightly warm. Not too sugary, not too sharp. It feels polished but still fun, like something you can wear dressed up or with jeans. Lasted all day on my hoodie too, which is always a win.
