Fancy dessert vibes

Patchouli Gourmand is exactly what I wanted it to be: sweet, warm, and a little mysterious. The vanilla is creamy but not basic, and the pink pepper gives the opening a tiny kick so it doesn’t feel flat. After drydown, it’s this plush patchouli-vanilla mix that feels super sexy without being obvious. I wouldn’t call it fresh, but it has enough brightness at the start to keep it from feeling too dense. Wore it on a night out and got two compliments, so yeah, it works.

Smooth, rich, addictive

This one surprised me. I thought it might be too sweet, but the sandalwood balances everything so nicely. It has that Fragrance Du Bois smoothness where nothing feels screechy or cheap. The tonka gives it this soft almond-ish warmth, and the patchouli adds depth without going hippie shop. It’s honestly beautiful on cold skin and even better after an hour. Not beast mode, but it lasts all day on clothes and sits around you in a really elegant way. Total luxury comfort scent.

Cozy but expensive smelling

This is gorgeous. I was expecting a heavy dirty patchouli thing, but it’s way smoother and more wearable than that. The vanilla and tonka make it creamy and sweet, but not cupcake sweet, more like a warm cashmere sweater kind of vibe. Patchouli is there but super polished, almost chocolatey on my skin. Performance is great too, I get like 8+ hours and a soft but noticeable trail. It feels expensive in the best way, not loud or try-hard. Def one of the best gourmand patchouli scents I’ve tried.

Not your usual oud

I’m picky with oud scents because a lot of them feel too animalic or just overly sweet, but this one is beautiful. The bitter orange makes the whole thing feel sharper and brighter, almost like it’s cutting through the darkness. Then the drydown gets this smooth earthy wood vibe from the cypriol that smells really addictive. It’s mature but not old-man at all. Lasts forever on clothes and around 7-8 hours on skin. Easy 5 stars for me, super unique in the JPG lineup.

JPG went niche here

Honestly this smells like JPG trying to play in the niche oud lane and actually winning. The bitter orange opening is gorgeous, kinda bitter and zesty, then it dries down into this smooth cypriol-heavy woody thing. Not sweet, not loud clubby stuff, just confident and grown. If you’re expecting Le Male DNA, nope, this is way more refined. Performance is great too, I still smell it on my jacket the next day. Super impressed with this one.

Smooth orange oud vibe

I love this way more than I expected. The bitter orange in the opening is super classy, not juicy like a summer citrus, more like a sharp peel thing that cuts through the darker woody base. I’m guessing the cypriol is what gives it that dry, smoky-oud feel without going barnyard at all. It smells expensive and very French, tbh. On my skin it lasts around 8 hours and projects nicely for the first few. Def one of the best JPG releases if you like elegant darker scents.

My new Memo favorite

I’m picky with patchouli but it’s done so well here. No dirty basement vibes, no chocolatey heaviness, just a smooth earthy base that gives the whole scent depth. The pink pepper keeps it lively and the musk makes it feel soft and close in the best way. It smells luxe without being too serious. Performance is great on me, solid 8 hours with a nice scent bubble for the first few. I’d honestly recommend this to anyone who wants something unique but still wearable.

Soft but seriously addictive

This is gorgeous. I get apricot right away, not juicy candy apricot but more like a fuzzy, golden softness that blends into musk. It has that Memo polished feel where everything smells expensive and intentional. Kinda reminds me of the vibe of Delina if Delina chilled out and wore a cashmere sweater instead of a pink dress. Projection is moderate, but people near me definitely noticed it. It’s feminine, smooth, and honestly kinda addictive. Full bottle worthy for me.

Pink pepper magic

I honestly love this one way more than I expected. The pink pepper gives it this sparkly little bite at the start, but it never turns harsh or sneezy. Then the musk and cashmeran make it feel super smooth and expensive, like a soft designer coat in perfume form. It’s not a loud rose bomb at all, more like a modern rosy aura with warmth underneath. Lasts around 7-8 hours on me and I kept catching whiffs all day. Super elegant but still easy to wear.

So smooth and addictive

This is dangerously good. I kept smelling my wrist like a weirdo lol. The sandalwood in here is super smooth and the vanilla isn’t cupcake-y at all, more like a soft golden sweetness. Patchouli Gourmand kinda gives me the same addictive quality I get from Gris Charnel Extrait, not because they smell the same, but because it feels rich, cozy, and impossible to ignore. Projects nicely for the first few hours then sits closer. Absolutely full bottle worthy.

Patchouli for patchouli haters

If you usually hate patchouli, still try this. It’s not that dirty, sharp patchouli that takes over everything. Here it’s rounded out with tonka bean and vanilla, so it feels plush and almost creamy. The citrus opening is brighter than I expected too, like a quick mandarin/lemon lift before it melts into the warm base. Performance is excellent on my skin, strong but not obnoxious. Honestly a 10/10 cold weather scent.

Luxury dessert vibes

This smells like a fancy dessert in a five star hotel lobby, but in the best way. The vanilla is creamy, the sandalwood is soft, and the patchouli gives it depth so it doesn’t turn into a basic sweet scent. It’s sweet, but not teenage sweet. More grown, polished, sexy. I wore it to dinner and kept catching whiffs from my scarf the next day. Pricey for sure, but tbh this actually smells expensive.

Patchouli for vanilla lovers

I love this so much. If patchouli usually scares you, try this one because it’s not earthy basement patchouli at all. It opens with a little lemon/mandarin sparkle, then pretty quickly turns into this creamy vanilla-patchouli cloud. Super smooth, slightly spicy, and honestly kinda addictive. It reminds me of the cozy sweetness in some Initio scents, but classier and less shouty. Projection is solid without choking people out. I wore it to dinner and kept smelling my sleeve all night. Easy 5/5 for me.

Perfect dressed-up scent

This is the kind of scent I’d wear with a black coat or a nice shirt. French Oud has that bitter orange bite at first, then it turns warm, dry, and woody. The cypriol gives it a slightly smoky, earthy edge but it stays very clean and wearable. I love that it feels luxurious without trying too hard. Projection is solid for me, maybe not beast mode, but people near you will notice. Really classy stuff and honestly worth sampling if you like modern oud.

Dark but still fresh

French Oud is so good. What I really like is that it doesn’t go full heavy oud monster. The bitter orange keeps it lifted and kinda sparkling, while the cypriol gives this earthy dry woodiness that feels super polished. It reminds me a little of those niche designer-private-line scents that smell simple but insanely well blended. I wore it to dinner and got two compliments, which almost never happens with darker scents on me. Strong but not obnoxious. 5/5 easily.

Nice salty citrus, not a wow

Menorca is pleasant, but I’m not obsessed. The opening is a nice zingy bergamot/lemon thing with a little ginger kick, then it turns salty and kinda mineral on my skin. Very breezy, like clean skin after being near the sea, but not super memorable. I was hoping for more depth from the sandalwood, but it stays pretty soft and airy. Performance is okay, maybe 5-6 hours, with mild projection. Definitely easy to wear in summer or to the office, just feels a bit overpriced for what it is. Decent, but I wouldn’t rush to buy a full bottle.

Pretty, plush, expensive

This is stunning tbh. The cashmeran is what makes it for me — plush, warm, almost velvety, but not heavy. There’s a little apricot brightness that keeps it from feeling too powdery or mature. I wore it out and got two compliments, which almost never happens with softer scents on me. It has that niche expensive smell but isn’t weird just for the sake of being weird. If you like cozy musky florals with a bit of sparkle, def try this.

Effortless chic scent

Odéon Rosebud smells like someone who always looks put together without trying too hard. The bergamot opening is bright and pretty, then it settles into this musky, slightly woody skin scent that still feels noticeable. I love that it doesn’t scream, but it also doesn’t disappear after an hour. On clothes it lasts forever. It’s one of those perfumes I could wear to work, dinner, weekends, basically anywhere. Very Parisian, very clean-but-warm, and just beautifully blended.

Bright opening, rich drydown

What I love most is how it starts fresh and spicy, then slowly turns into this deep creamy patchouli-vanilla thing. The mandarin at the top keeps it from feeling too dense right away, then the tonka bean comes in and makes it warm and addictive. It feels unisex to me, maybe slightly sweet but very balanced. I wore it all day at work and it still smelled amazing when I got home. Expensive, yes, but the quality is obvious.

Creamy patchouli heaven

I’m obsessed with this one. Patchouli Gourmand is rich without being heavy, which is kinda rare for this style. The patchouli is smooth and chocolatey-ish to my nose, not earthy basement vibes, and the vanilla/tonka makes it feel super cozy and expensive. I also get a little sparkle from the pink pepper in the opening. Lasts easily 8+ hours on me and leaves a really classy trail. Def one of the best Fragrance Du Bois I’ve tried.
