Late Lunch is simple, but not plain. That’s the magic for me. I get mandarin and cedar the most, with this salty airy background that makes it feel super modern. It’s the kind of scent I could wear every single day and never get tired of. Not a loud club fragrance, not trying to be Delina or BR540, just clean, fresh, a little musky, and very polished. My only warning is if you need massive projection, this isn’t that. But if you like intimate, classy scents, it’s honestly stunning.
Okay this is gorgeous. The lemon comes in first, super juicy and fresh, then it turns salty and woody in the prettiest way. It feels like a crisp white shirt, good sunglasses, and lunch somewhere by the water lol. Nothing heavy or sweet here, which I really appreciate. The ambrox gives it that modern clean glow, but it doesn’t go screechy on me like some ambrox-heavy scents do. Projection is moderate, longevity is solid, maybe 6-8 hours. Honestly one of the best fresh releases I’ve smelled lately.
This is one of those perfumes that doesn’t scream perfume, it just makes you smell naturally amazing. The salt note is so good here, like warm skin after the beach, but without sunscreen or coconut. The pink pepper gives it a tiny sparkle and the cedar makes the drydown feel smooth and clean. I usually find Byredo a little too faint, but Late Lunch actually hangs around on me. It’s understated, yeah, but in a very intentional way. If you like Another 13 but want something brighter and less musky, try this.
Sparkling Royal is honestly such an easy reach. Mint and lemon up top make it feel cold and bubbly, like a mojito without the sugar. The musk keeps it super clean and wearable, which I love because some mint scents go weird on my skin. This one doesn’t. It’s not a masterpiece and I do think it could last longer, especially for Kilian prices, but I keep wanting to spray it. Perfect for hot days, white shirts, brunch, errands, whatever. Simple but very nice.
Tilsim is very good, just not a full love for me. The pomegranate opening is gorgeous, juicy and a little tart, and the caramel underneath makes it feel cozy without turning into a gourmand bomb. I think people who like sweet niche scents but don’t want the BR540-ish dentist office thing would enjoy this more. Minor flaw: after a few hours it gets a bit flat on my skin, like the fruity part disappears and I’m left with a soft sweet haze. Still totally wearable and pretty.
I really like this one. Sparkling Royal opens super bright, almost like chilled lemon water with mint leaves slapped in. It’s fresh but not toothpaste-y, which I appreciate. After an hour it gets softer and a little creamy from the tonka, so it doesn’t stay sharp the whole time. My only issue is the sparkle fades kinda fast and then it sits closer to skin. Still, it feels clean, expensive, and easy to wear. Def a nice spring/summer scent if you want something fresh but not basic.
This smells really good but also slightly confusing lol. I get juicy pomegranate at first, then this creamy caramel sweetness, but there’s also this “unknown” airy note that makes it feel a little abstract. Not in a bad way, just not super straightforward. I like that it doesn’t go syrupy on me, which was my fear. It’s elegant enough for dinner but still wearable during the day if you spray lightly. Performance is solid, not beast mode, but I could smell it most of the afternoon.
This surprised me. The salt note is what makes it for me, because otherwise it might just be another citrus musk. The mandarin is juicy at first, then it dries down into this smooth ambrox-y skin scent that feels clean without going laundry detergent. Kinda reminds me of a softer, less beachy Wood Sage & Sea Salt, but more urban. I wish it had a bit more throw because it sits close pretty fast. Still, it smells really good and super wearable.
I really like this one. It opens super bright with mandarin and lemon, but the salt keeps it from feeling like basic bathroom-cleaner citrus lol. After a bit it gets softer and musky, very clean skin after a long lunch by the water vibes. It’s not loud at all, more of a personal bubble scent, but I kinda love that. Lasts around 6 hours on me, which is decent for Byredo. My only gripe is the price feels a little high for how airy it is.
Late Lunch is such a vibe. It smells like sitting outside somewhere sunny with salty air and a cold citrus drink, but make it Byredo and chic. I get mostly mandarin, salt, and ambrox, and the combo is honestly perfect. It’s fresh but not sharp, cozy but not sweet. I’ve been wearing it to work and people keep asking what smells so clean. Not beast mode, but it leaves a really nice trail for a few hours and then sits closer. 5/5 for me, def full bottle worthy.
I love this way more than I expected. The mandarin and lemon opening is super bright, but the salt keeps it from smelling like basic shower gel. It has that airy Byredo thing going on, kinda minimal but still weirdly addictive. On me it dries down to a clean musky cedar vibe that smells expensive without trying too hard. Perfect for days when I want to smell fresh but not like I sprayed a typical citrus cologne. Lasts around 7 hours on my skin, which is great for this style.
I expected just another citrus freshie, but this has more personality. The mint gives it a cool edge and the lemon is bright without smelling like cleaner. Later I get this soft tonka thing that makes it slightly sweet, not gourmand, just cozy enough. It kinda reminds me of those fresh MFK-style scents but less airy and more smooth. Not beast mode at all, so don’t expect a room filler. But as a close, clean, expensive-smelling scent, I think it’s really good.
This smells like a fancy hotel lobby drink lol. I get lemon and mint right away, super crisp and fizzy, then it smooths out with musk underneath. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s done really well and feels very Kilian in that polished, luxe way. Performance is decent on me, around 6 hours, but projection is more moderate than loud. I wish it had a little more punch for the price, tbh. Still, I love wearing it when I want to smell fresh but a bit dressed up.
Tilsim is one of those sweet fragrances that doesn’t scream teenager, which I appreciate. The caramel is definitely there but it’s not sticky or burnt, and the pomegranate gives it a nice fruity lift. It kinda reminds me of the vibe of some niche fruity ambers, but softer and less dramatic than something like Erba Pura. I do wish it had a little more sparkle after the first hour because it settles pretty smooth and quiet. Still very pretty and compliment-friendly.
I actually really love Tilsim. On me it opens with this bright pomegranate vibe, kinda tart and juicy, then the caramel comes in and makes it smoother and warmer. It’s sweet but not full-on candy, more like a glossy fruity dessert. My only issue is that it can feel a tiny bit vague in the middle, like I’m smelling something pretty but can’t quite pin it down. Still, it’s super easy to wear and feels expensive. Lasts around 7 hours on my skin, projection is moderate.
I’d give this a solid 4. It’s bright in the opening with lemon and mandarin, then the cedar comes in and makes it feel dry and classy instead of sweet. Perfect for spring/summer or when you want to smell clean but not boring. It does have that Byredo minimal thing where you’re like… is this amazing or just really well marketed? lol. Performance is okay, not huge, maybe 5-6 hours. I love the vibe, just wish it projected a tiny bit more.
Late Lunch is basically one of those effortless Byredo scents that smells simple but weirdly polished. I get lemon, pink pepper, and a soft cedar thing underneath. It feels casual but expensive, like a white shirt and good sunglasses. Not sexy exactly, more clean and put together. Projection is pretty soft after the first hour, so don’t expect beast mode. Still, I kept sniffing my wrist all day. It’s def not groundbreaking, but it’s a very good everyday scent if you like fresh woods.
This is nice enough, just not super memorable. I get a bright lemon and mint opening that feels clean and fizzy, almost like a fancy hotel lobby drink lol. After that it softens into a light musk with a tiny bit of tonka, but nothing really grabs me. It’s fresh and easy to wear, especially in warm weather, but for Kilian prices I expected more personality. Performance is okay on me, maybe 5-6 hours, with pretty soft projection. Not bad at all, just kinda basic.
Tilsim is okay, just not as magical as I expected from Tiziana Terenzi. I get a juicy pomegranate vibe at first, then it turns kinda sweet and smooth with a caramel touch, but it never fully grabs me. It smells pleasant and slightly playful, not cheap, but also not super memorable. Performance is decent on me, around 6 hours, with moderate projection for the first couple hours. I can see people liking this if they want something fruity-sweet without going full candy, but for the price I’d want more personality. Pretty, but I wouldn’t rush to buy a bottle.
Tbh this might be my favorite Jo Malone fresh scent. It has that airy sea salt vibe but the bergamot makes it brighter and more wearable for me. I don’t find it flat at all, the moss adds a little green depth so it doesn’t vanish into generic clean laundry territory. It smells unisex, classy, and super easy to wear. I’d put this on after a shower, before work, on a date in summer, whatever. It’s pricey, yeah, but the smell is so good I can’t even be mad.
