This is a very “cool person” scent to me. Peppermint, citrus, and woods, but blended in a way that doesn’t smell like toothpaste or shower gel, thankfully. It has that Ex Nihilo glossy finish where everything feels smooth and expensive. I love wearing it in warmer weather because it feels fresh without being boring. My only complaint is the price, because while it smells great, I’m not sure it’s THAT groundbreaking. Still a strong 4/5 for me.
I really like this, though I don’t think it’s a total masterpiece. The blood orange gives it a juicy sparkle, then the Akigalawood comes in and makes everything peppery/woody without being too harsh. It kinda reminds me of those clean woody ambers like Ganymede’s distant cousin, but more playful and easier to wear. The tonka is barely sweet on me, just enough to soften it. Performance is good, not beast mode, but def noticeable.
Demon Dancer feels like a fresh fragrance that went out clubbing lol. I get a lot of rhubarb at first, tart and juicy, with this crisp bergamot thing cutting through. The drydown is more woody-musky, pretty smooth but also a little synthetic in that modern niche way. Not a bad thing, just very polished. I wouldn’t call it cozy at all, more sleek and cool. Projection is solid for the first couple hours then sits closer.
This one surprised me. The peppermint and blood orange opening is super bright, almost like a fancy cocktail, but not sweet or childish. Then it gets woodier and a bit musky on my skin, which makes it feel more expensive and less “freshie.” I love the contrast, it’s clean but kinda dangerous too. Only flaw is the opening is the best part and it calms down a little too fast. Still, lasts around 6-7 hours on me with decent projection.
Honestly this surprised me. I expected something heavier because of the tobacco and saffron, but it’s actually pretty wearable. The vanilla is warm and smooth, the pimento gives it a tiny peppery bite, and the whole thing feels cozy without becoming sticky. I wouldn’t call it everyday for everyone, but if you like spicy sweet perfumes, it’s easy to enjoy. Projection is moderate, not room-filling, which I actually prefer. My only nitpick is that the drydown gets a little fuzzy and samey after a while. Still smells great though, just not a total 5 star masterpiece.
Changing Constance Intense is super pretty if you like spicy vanillas. On my skin the cardamom is the star at first, almost chai-like, then it melts into this soft vanilla-cashmeran thing. Very smooth, very polished, very Penhaligon's. It’s not a beast mode fragrance, but it definitely lasts and leaves a nice little trail for the first few hours. Minor complaint: I wanted the tobacco to be darker and more noticeable. It’s there, but kinda shy. Still, this is one of those scents that makes you feel put together without trying too hard.
This is basically sweet, spicy, and a little moody in the best way. The saffron and vanilla combo is so nice here, kinda creamy but not cupcake-y. I get a bit of tobacco too, which keeps it from feeling too pretty or soft. It reminds me slightly of those warm niche ambers everyone loves, but less screechy than BR540-style scents. I do wish it had a bit more punch after the first couple hours though, because it sits closer than I expected. Still, I love wearing it with a sweater when I want to smell expensive but not loud.

Vendomania Extrait kinda gives me rich hotel lobby at night, in a good way. I get saffron right away, then a smooth vanilla-leather blend that feels warm and expensive. It reminds me a tiny bit of that BR540-adjacent saffron sweetness, but darker and less airy, with more creamy skin warmth. I love how blended it is, nothing sharp or screechy. The only flaw is it doesn’t evolve a ton after the first hour, it just settles into the same cozy sweet leather. Still very wearable and classy.

Not sweet like Love Don’t Be Shy, not heavy like Angels’ Share — this is the fresh elegant Kilian cousin. I can see this working for literally anything: work, dinners, weddings, vacations. It smells crisp without being generic, which is hard to do. Performance is better than I expected too, around 6-8 hours and a soft but noticeable bubble.
This gives me rich summer night energy. Not beachy sunscreen, more like rooftop bar with a lemon drink in your hand. The mint makes it feel cold and sparkling, but the musk keeps it sexy and smooth instead of sporty. I honestly think this is one of Kilian’s best fresh scents because it still has personality. Projection is moderate on me, but the scent trail is gorgeous and it hangs around on clothes forever. If you like fresh fragrances with a luxury twist, def try this.
