This one surprised me because I expected something louder. Gibeon is more of a cozy elegant scent to me, mostly vanilla, tonka, and smooth sandalwood after the opening settles. The cinnamon is there but not spicy-bomb territory, more like a soft warmth in the background. It feels expensive and easy to wear, especially in cooler weather. Minor flaw: it can get a little too creamy/sweet if I overspray, so 2-3 sprays is enough. Not beast mode, but it lasts well on clothes.
Tbh I was ready to roll my eyes because the name sounds like another heavy sweet tobacco scent, but this is gorgeous. It’s warm and dense, but the orange keeps it from feeling flat, and the akigalawood gives it this spicy woody edge that I’m obsessed with. It smells expensive without trying too hard. I wouldn’t wear it in summer heat, but fall/winter nights? perfect. Performance is strong but not nuclear, which I actually like. Easily full bottle worthy.
I love this one way more than I expected. It’s not a cheap sweet chocolate vibe at all, more like dark tobacco wrapped in warm balsamic woods. The orange in the opening gives it this little sparkle before it gets deeper and smoother. Super classy but still kinda sexy. On my skin it lasts easily 8+ hours and projects really well for the first few. Feels like something you wear when you actually want to be noticed, not just smell nice.
The opening is pretty and sparkly, but the drydown is the reason I’d buy a full bottle. The musk and bourbon vanilla combo is insanely good, like creamy clean skin with a tiny boozy edge. I also get a bit of blackcurrant, but it’s not fruity in a cheap body spray way, more like a dark little tartness. It’s very Byredo: airy, chic, not trying too hard. Still, it has more presence than Mojave Ghost on me. Honestly smells special without screaming for attention.
This is one of those perfumes I couldn’t stop thinking about after testing. The aldehydes are fizzy and clean at first, but there’s something slightly odd underneath, maybe the ambrofix mixed with blackcurrant, that makes it feel modern and not basic. Then the bourbon vanilla smooths everything out beautifully. It’s not sweet-sweet, more airy and creamy. I wore it to dinner and got two compliments, which almost never happens with my Byredos lol. 5/5 for me, easy.
This is gorgeous tbh. A lot of Byredo scents feel a little too minimal for me, but Future Memories has actual depth. The galbanum gives it this green snap at the start, then it melts into musk and vanilla in such a smooth way. Not cupcake vanilla at all, more like creamy, boozy, expensive skin. It kinda reminds me of a futuristic Blanche with more warmth and attitude. Projection is moderate, but it sticks to clothes forever. I kept smelling my scarf all day.
I love this way more than I expected. It opens super bright with aldehydes, almost sparkly laundry-clean, but then the blackcurrant comes in and makes it juicy without going shampoo-y. The drydown is where it gets addictive though… soft musk and this creamy vanilla liqueur vibe that feels cozy but still polished. It smells expensive in that quiet Byredo way, not loud or obvious. Lasts around 7 hours on me with a really pretty scent bubble. Def one of the more unique clean scents I’ve tried.
Okay this is gorgeous if you like your perfumes a bit darker and more grown up. It’s not a pretty pink rose type of scent at all, it’s more oud, leather, and warm amber with a polished expensive feel. I love that it smells confident without screaming. There’s something almost vintage about it, but still modern enough to wear now. Compared to something like Delina, this is the complete opposite vibe — less girly, more mysterious. Lasting power is excellent on me, easily 8 hours. Big yes.
This is one of those perfumes that just makes sense in cold weather. It’s cozy but not sweet, dark but not heavy. I get a gorgeous mix of oud, patchouli, and amber, and it has this smooth leathery edge that makes it feel super chic. I wouldn’t wear it to the office personally, it’s a little too bold for that, but for nights out it’s perfect. Projection is strong for the first couple hours then settles closer, but it stays on skin all evening. Really beautiful stuff.
This is stunning tbh. The leather note is the star for me, but it’s not rough or biker jacket leather… more like soft black leather gloves with warm amber. The oud adds depth but doesn’t take over, which I appreciate because some oud perfumes can get too medicinal on me. This one feels balanced and super wearable. I wore it to dinner and got asked what I was wearing twice, which almost never happens with Jo Malone on me. Expensive, yes, but it smells like it.
This does not smell like the usual light airy Jo Malone stuff, and I’m obsessed. Rose & Oud Leather is deep, warm, and super elegant without being too loud or messy. I mostly get leather and amber, with the oud giving it this smoky richness in the background. It kinda reminds me of a softer, more wearable niche oud scent, but still very classy. Not sweet, not fresh, just smooth and expensive smelling. Lasts really well on my coat too, like the next day I could still smell it.

This is pleasant, but I don’t think it’s anything I’d run to buy. The bergamot is bright for like 10 minutes, then it turns into this soft salty mineral thing with a bit of driftwood. Very clean, very Jo Malone, kinda like fancy hand soap at a beach hotel. I actually like how airy it is, but it’s also pretty forgettable and sits super close after an hour. Lasts maybe 4-5 hrs on me if I really spray. Nice for summer or the office, just not special enough for the price tbh.
This is nice, just didn’t blow me away. I get a sweet pistachio-caramel thing at first, kinda creamy and dessert-like, but it settles into a soft vanilla musk pretty fast on me. It smells pleasant and easy to wear, but for Fragrance Du Bois I expected a little more depth or wow factor. The hibiscus maybe gives it a tiny fruity/floral lift, but it’s not super noticeable. Performance is decent, around 5-6 hours, with pretty moderate projection. I’d wear it if I had a sample, but I wouldn’t rush to buy a bottle tbh.
This is one of those perfumes that makes you stand up straighter lol. Tobacco Chocolat smells rich, dark, and super smooth without being loud in an annoying way. The patchouli is there but clean, not earthy basement patchouli, and the tobacco is just beautiful. I wore it to dinner and got two compliments, which basically never happens to me. If you’re expecting candy chocolate, nope. This is much more grown up and expensive smelling. I get a slightly bitter tobacco with smooth amber-wood vibes from the Ambrofix, and the orange at the start is so good, like a tiny splash of brightness before it turns smoky and warm. It kinda reminds me of the vibe of Tobacco Vanille, but less sugary and more polished. Def 5/5 for me. Not an everyday dumb reach, but when it fits, it REALLY fits.
This smells like walking into a fancy cigar lounge with a leather chair and a ridiculously expensive drink, in the best way. The tobacco is rich but not dirty, and the Peru balsam gives it this cozy resinous sweetness that makes it super wearable. I also get a woody patchouli thing underneath that keeps it from becoming too dessert-like. Honestly one of the best Tom Ford releases I’ve tried lately. Beast mode on my jacket too, I smelled it the next day.
Future Memories smells like wearing a perfect cream cashmere sweater in a cold glass building, if that makes sense. Very clean aldehydes up top, then soft musk and a little creamy liqueur warmth underneath. It’s cozy but not heavy, elegant but not boring. I usually find vanilla perfumes too obvious, but this one is blended so well that it just feels smooth and luxurious. Performance is solid too, not beast mode but definitely present for 6-8 hours. I’d wear this constantly.

I’d wear it to the office or a casual dinner, but I wouldn’t pay full price for it.
