I love this way more than I expected. Mallow opens with this juicy raspberry that feels sweet but not cheap candy, then the vanilla sugar comes in and makes everything fluffy and cozy. The pink pepper gives it a tiny sparkle so it doesn’t turn into a boring gourmand. On me it lasts around 7-8 hours and I kept smelling my wrist all day. It’s playful but still kinda elegant, like a grown-up sweet scent. Def one of the best fruity vanillas I’ve tried recently.
What I really like here is that it doesn’t smell flat. A lot of fresh men’s scents disappear into generic blue territory, but this has depth from the patchouli and cardamom. The bergamot keeps it bright, so it never gets too dark or serious. It’s classy but still youthful, like a crisp black shirt kind of vibe. I wouldn’t call it super unique, but it’s done so well that I don’t care. Longevity is great too, easily lasts through a full workday on me.
I love this one way more than the original MYSLF. The bergamot pops at first but it’s not that basic shower gel citrus thing, it feels richer and smoother. Then the ginger/cardamom gives it this warm spicy kick that makes it super addictive. It’s clean, masculine, and polished without being boring. Honestly this is the kind of scent you can wear to work, dinner, whatever, and still smell like you made an effort. Performance is great on me too, around 8 hours with solid projection for the first few.
Piña Paraíso is honestly delicious. Pineapple, rum, and vanilla are the main things I smell, and it totally gives piña colada but dressed up. Not juvenile, not sunscreen-y, just sweet and boozy in a really wearable way. I could see this being amazing for summer nights or vacation dinners. Performance is solid on me, not beast mode but people around me noticed it for sure. Minor complaint: it’s not super versatile, like I wouldn’t wear this to the office or in cold rainy weather. But for the vibe it’s going for, it nails it.
This is one of those perfumes I keep sniffing on my wrist. Mallow opens with a sweet raspberry candy vibe, then the amber and vanilla sugar make it warmer and softer. It kinda reminds me of the playful side of Delina, but less rose, more musky sweetness. I really like it, but tbh it can feel a tiny bit synthetic in the first 10 minutes. Once it settles though, it’s lovely. Cozy but still flirty. I’d wear this more in fall or on a casual date night. Solid 4 stars for me.
I expected this to be loud pineapple candy, but it’s actually more refined than that. The rum note gives it that Kilian boozy thing, and the tonka makes the drydown warm and kinda cozy. It smells expensive, like a tropical drink served in a fancy hotel instead of a beach shack. I love the opening the most, super bright and happy. The downside is the pineapple fades faster than I want, and then it becomes more vanilla-tonka. Still very good, just wish the fruity part stuck around longer.
I enjoy this a lot, but I wouldn’t call it groundbreaking. The bergamot is fresh and polished, the ginger gives it a nice sparkle, and then the patchouli keeps it from being too basic. It reminds me of the kind of scent you wear when you wanna smell put together but not loud. Great for daily wear, especially if you like clean designer stuff. My only complaint is it feels a little too safe for the price. Still smells really good though.
MYSLF L’Absolu is def a compliment-friendly scent. It has that modern blue/fresh designer DNA, but the ginger and cardamom make it more interesting than the usual boring gym bag freshie. It smells clean, masculine, a little sweet-spicy, and very smooth. I wore it out to dinner and my friend immediately asked what it was, so there’s that. Not beast mode, but lasts around 6-7 hours on me. I just wish the drydown had a bit more character.
Mallow is super cute honestly. I get a bright raspberry at first, kinda fizzy from the pink pepper, then it melts into this soft vanilla sugar thing that feels fluffy but not childish. It’s sweet, but not syrupy sweet, which I really appreciate. There’s a little musky edge underneath that keeps it from being too cupcake-y. My only issue is the opening is way more exciting than the drydown, which gets a bit simple after a few hours. Still, I love wearing it when I want something pretty and easy. Lasts around 6-7 hours on me.
Wore this twice and got asked what I had on both times, so yeah, it’s doing something right. MYSLF L’Absolu has that fresh bergamot opening that grabs attention, then the ginger comes in and gives it a little sparkle. The drydown is smooth and warm, not too sweet, not too heavy. It feels very YSL in the best way, clean but seductive. Projection is definitely above average on my skin, especially for the first few hours. I’d wear this on a date without even thinking twice.
This is one of those designer releases that just works. The opening is fresh and bright from the bergamot, but the cardamom makes it feel warm and classy right away. I get a little patchouli in the drydown too, but it’s clean, not earthy or dirty. Kinda reminds me of the vibe of Bleu de Chanel parfum, but more modern and spicy. It smells expensive, super wearable, and honestly hard to dislike. If you want something safe but still kinda sexy, this is it.
I really like this, but I have to be in the mood for it. The pineapple opening is bright and juicy, then the rum makes it feel flirty and a little boozy. The vanilla drydown is pretty, but it does get quite sweet on me, almost dessert-like. If you hate sweet fragrances, this might be too much. It kinda reminds me of the fun side of Kilian, like not trying to be serious at all. Lasts a good amount of time, maybe 7 hours. Not perfect, but super enjoyable.
Mallow is really nice if you like sweet fruity vanillas but don’t want something too loud. The raspberry is soft and jammy, not sour, and the black musk gives it a slightly darker base which I wasn’t expecting. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s done well and feels polished. I wore it to work and it didn’t choke anyone out, which is a win lol. Performance is decent, maybe 5-6 hours, with softer projection after the first hour. Minor flaw is I wish it had a bit more depth, but I’d happily wear it often.
This is such a fun one. I get juicy pineapple right away, but not in a cheap body spray way, more like a cocktail with actual rum in it. The vanilla comes in pretty quick and smooths everything out, so it feels creamy and a little sexy. It def gives resort bar at sunset vibes. My only issue is it gets a bit sweeter than I’d want after a few hours, almost syrupy on my skin. Still, I really enjoy it and it lasts around 6-7 hours with decent projection.
I expected Mallow to be a straight-up marshmallow vanilla scent, but it’s actually more interesting than that. The raspberry is juicy and kinda tart, and the pink pepper gives it this little sparkle that makes it feel less basic. The vanilla sugar is def there, but it’s smooth instead of heavy. I do wish the violet came through more on my skin because that would’ve made it even prettier. Projection is moderate, not beast mode, but people can smell it if they’re near you. Very wearable, very girly, but still a bit edgy.
This is one of those fragrances that smells expensive without trying too hard. I get a lot of cardamom and bergamot up top, kinda spicy-fresh, then it smooths out into a clean patchouli vibe. It’s not super unique, let’s be real, but it’s very well blended and easy to like. My only issue is I wish it projected a little louder because after 4-5 hours it gets pretty polite. Still, I’d happily wear this anytime.
I actually like this way more than the original MYSLF. The bergamot opening is bright and clean, but the ginger gives it a little bite so it doesn’t feel like just another shower gel scent. The patchouli in the drydown makes it a bit warmer and more grown up. It’s still super easy to wear, like office or date night easy, but it has better depth. Projection is decent for the first couple hours, then settles closer. Solid 4/5 for me.
MYSLF L’Absolu is fine, just not really exciting to me. The bergamot and ginger opening is fresh and a little spicy, which I actually like, but after a bit it settles into that modern clean woody/patchouli vibe that feels very designer-counter safe. It smells good, no doubt, and I could see this working for office or casual nights out. But for the price, I wanted more personality. Performance is decent on me, around 6 hours, with moderate projection early on. Not bad at all, just kinda blends in with a lot of other blue-ish fresh masculine scents.
Mallow is nice, but it didn’t really wow me. I get a sweet raspberry at first with a little pink pepper sparkle, then it settles into this soft vanilla sugar thing. It’s pretty and kinda cozy, but also a bit generic? Like I’ve smelled this fruity-sweet musky vibe before, just done louder or more memorable. The black musk gives it some depth, which I liked, but it still feels a little flat after an hour. Performance is okay on me, maybe 5-6 hours, projection pretty moderate. I’d wear it casually, but I wouldn’t rush to buy a full bottle.
This is decent, just not as exciting as I hoped from Kilian. The pineapple opening is juicy and fun, kinda like a fancy tropical cocktail, and the rum gives it a nice boozy touch without going full sunscreen mode. After a bit, it turns softer and sweeter with vanilla, but also gets a little flat on my skin. I wanted more sparkle or depth tbh. Performance is okay, maybe 5-6 hours, but projection chills out pretty fast. Nice for summer nights or vacation vibes, but for the price I’d rather sample first.
