This was an instant yes for me. I sprayed it once and literally kept smelling my wrist like a weirdo. The coffee is bold but smooth, and that benzoin/vanilla drydown is so cozy and addictive. It’s sweet, but more dark syrupy sweet than candy sweet. I don’t think this is an office scent unless you go really light, because it has presence, but for nights out? Perfect. Feels expensive, sensual, and a little mysterious. Easily one of the best coffee scents I’ve tried.
Tbh I wasn’t expecting to be obsessed, but Midnight Espresso is seriously gorgeous. The coffee note is rich and roasted, not that stale diner coffee smell some perfumes have. The rum gives it a boozy sparkle, and then the benzoin makes everything resinous and warm. It kinda reminds me of the vibe of Black Phantom, but smoother and less dessert-heavy. This feels more wearable to me. I sprayed it before dinner and could still smell it the next morning on my scarf. 5/5 easily.

If you like apple scents, please try Jany. This is not shampoo apple or cheap body spray apple, it’s baked apple with cinnamon and a soft musky drydown that makes it wearable. I love gourmands but a lot of them feel too loud or too sugary on me. This one is sweet, yes, but balanced and kind of grown up. It lasts forever on sweaters too. I sprayed it once on my scarf and smelled it the next day. Def full bottle worthy for me.
