Tygar is one of those fragrances that makes you keep smelling your wrist all day. I get a sharp citrus opening, loads of grapefruit, and then this smooth woody-musky drydown that feels insanely clean but not boring. It has that rich Bvlgari quality where everything smells really blended and effortless. Tbh this is what I wish a lot of expensive fresh scents smelled like. It’s versatile enough for work, but it still has enough presence for dinner or a night out. Projection is strong for the first couple hours and it lasts way longer than expected. Super easy compliment getter too. I really love this one.
I own a lot of fresh fragrances and Tygar still stands out. The grapefruit is front and center, but it’s not just tart or zesty, it has this smooth rounded feel that makes it smell super refined. Then the ambroxan and woods give it that clean, mineral-like backbone that keeps pulling me back in. It feels niche without being weird, and designer without being basic. That’s a hard balance. Honestly this is one of those scents that gets noticed without screaming. Very polished, very addictive, very easy to wear. I get good longevity too, around 8 hours, with a really nice scent trail. Highly recommended, no question.
What I love most about Tygar is that it doesn’t try too hard. It’s basically this bright grapefruit opening with a smooth woody amber thing underneath, but the quality is so high that it feels special. No harsh cleaner vibe, no cheap synthetic citrus blast. Just crisp, radiant, elegant freshness. This is the kind of scent that works in heat, in the office, on weekends, pretty much anywhere. I’ve worn it dressed up and in a hoodie and it still fits. Lasts around 6-8 hours for me, which is great for this style. Not cheap obviously, but the scent itself is absolutely 5-star material.
Tbh this surprised me. I thought Vetiver Geranium would be too sharp or too formal, but it’s actually super easy to wear. The geranium gives it that airy green snap, and the vetiver keeps everything dry and refined. I also get a little citrus in the opening that makes it feel bright without going shower-gel. It kinda reminds me of Original Vetiver’s cleaner side, but this feels more mature and unique. I’ve worn it to work and out to dinner and it fits both. Lasts about 6-8 hours on me with moderate projection. Not beast mode, but honestly that’s part of the charm.
I love this stuff. It has that bitter-green opening, then the geranium and vetiver lock together in a way that smells super natural and expensive. There’s a slightly earthy edge here, but it stays clean the whole time, never dusty or harsh. If you like stuff like Terre d’Hermès but want something smoother and more elegant, this is def worth trying. What really gets me is how put-together it smells without trying too hard. It projects nicely for the first hour or two, then sits closer to the skin but keeps going for most of the day. Easy 5/5 for me, and honestly a compliment getter in a quiet way.
I usually like darker stuff, so I didn’t expect to fall this hard for Tygar. But wow. The grapefruit is crisp and slightly bitter in the best way, and that ambroxan gives it this airy, modern, almost addictive trail. There’s also a clean woody feel underneath that keeps it from being just another citrus scent. Kinda reminds me of the appeal people get from BR540’s radiance, but this goes in a fresher, more masculine direction. It smells expensive, confident, and weirdly comforting at the same time. On me it lasts around 7-8 hours with solid projection. Def a rare fresh fragrance that still feels date-night worthy.
Tygar is one of the few luxury fresh fragrances where I instantly understood the hype. The grapefruit is bitter and juicy at the same time, and that ambroxan base gives it a sleek modern vibe, kinda like if Bleu de Chanel went on a very expensive vacation. There’s a subtle woody drydown that keeps it masculine and really smooth. What I love most is how uplifting it feels without being basic. It smells effortless, sexy, and crazy polished. Performance is also no joke on my skin—easy all-day wear with strong projection early on. Yeah, it’s pricey, but the scent quality is so good that I can’t even be mad about it.
Tygar Extrait is good, just not as exciting as I hoped. I get that bright grapefruit thing up top with a smooth woody drydown, and there’s a clean ambrox vibe running through it. It smells polished and easy to wear, super Bvlgari in that expensive-clean way, but tbh it never really grabs me. For an extrait, I expected more depth or a richer twist. Instead it stays pretty linear and kinda familiar, almost like a dressed-up freshie. Performance is solid on me, around 7 hours, but the projection is more controlled than beast mode. Nice scent, def wearable, just nothing I’d call special.
Really nice extrait. The citrus pop up top is beautiful—grapefruit for sure—and then it dries down into this airy woody musk that smells super refined. I like that it has that luxury sheen without becoming heavy or overly sweet. Kinda reminds me of those modern fresh niche scents that all chase that sparkling ambroxan effect, but this one is smoother than most. My only complaint is that it’s almost too easy. I wanted one weird little twist, maybe more mineral depth or spice. Still, I can’t deny how wearable and classy it is. This is the kind of fragrance that makes you feel put together fast.
This stuff gets noticed. Every time I wear it, somebody says I smell clean or fresh in a really fancy way. I mostly pick up grapefruit, amber, and a smooth woody note, and the whole thing feels super crisp without going boring. It’s one of those fragrances that sits between casual and dressed up, which I def appreciate. Not beast mode on me, but it lasts a solid 6 hours and projects nicely for the first half. Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is because it plays it a little safe. Amazing scent, just not the most unique thing ever.
I wanted to love Viking more than I actually do. The mint and pepper in the opening are really nice, super crisp and energetic, and for a second it feels like it's going somewhere special. Then it turns into a woody, slightly soapy scent that reminds me of a more expensive designer fragrance. Not bad, just a bit generic. It has that elegant, grown-up thing going on, so I can see this working really well for daytime or business settings. But as a 3/5, that's exactly where I land: decent, easy to wear, nothing special. Lasts okay, maybe 5-6 hours on my skin, and sits closer after the opening.
This is so classy. I get a really crisp geranium up top with that clean, rooty vetiver underneath, and it never turns muddy or old-school on me. It’s green, dry, a little peppery, and just ridiculously polished. Kinda feels like if a classic barbershop scent got dressed up in a tailored suit. I love this for daytime, especially when I want something fresh but not basic citrus-fresh. Performance is better than I expected too, around 7 hours easy with a nice smooth trail for the first couple hours. Not loud, just confident. Def one of Creed’s more underrated releases.
I love this because it doesn’t try too hard. It’s basically grapefruit, ambroxan, and woods, but the balance is crazy good. The opening is crisp and almost sparkling, then it settles into this smooth woody skin scent that still gets noticed. Tbh a lot of citrus scents smell amazing for 20 minutes and then disappear, but Tygar actually sticks around. I got a solid 7 hours and a bunch of compliments at work, which almost never happens with fresher stuff. It’s super versatile too. Office, dinner, daytime, doesn’t matter. If you like clean scents but want something with more bite and presence, this is absolutely worth trying.
This stuff is stupidly good. Tygar opens with this bright juicy grapefruit that feels super clean and expensive, then the ambroxan comes in and gives it that airy musky glow without going full harsh shower-gel mode. I also get a little ginger sparkle in the top that keeps it sharp and lively. Kinda reminds me of a more refined designer freshie turned up to niche quality. On me it lasts easily 8+ hours and projects really well for the first few. I love how simple it smells but never boring. Fresh, confident, polished. Def one of those fragrances that makes you stand up straighter when you wear it.
I love this, but tbh the price hurts. The opening is juicy grapefruit with a crisp woody backbone, and later it settles into this musky ambery skin scent that smells super clean and rich. It kinda reminds me of the original Tygar obviously, just more concentrated and less playful. What I like most is how effortless it feels—never harsh, never screechy. Minor flaw: for an extrait, I expected a bit more depth or surprise. It smells amazing, just not mind-blowing enough for the cost. Still, I’d absolutely wear this on dates or to the office because it smells expensive without trying too hard.
Viking is solid, just not super exciting to me. The opening has a nice hit of pink pepper and bergamot, then it settles into that clean sandalwood vibe. I get why people call it classy and mature, and yeah, it smells well-made, but it also feels a little safe. Kinda like Creed doing a polished barbershop scent without the wow factor. Performance is decent on me, around 6 hours, with moderate projection for the first couple hours. Not bad at all, just not something I reach for when I want to smell memorable. Nice for the office, nice in cooler weather, but tbh for the price I expected more personality.
This is really good. Tygar Extrait keeps that sparkling grapefruit vibe but makes it thicker, smoother, and a little more dressed up. I also get that clean ambroxan/mineral thing in the background, which gives it that expensive hotel lobby feel. Super easy to like. My only issue is that it’s not wildly original if you’ve smelled the Tygar-style citrus woods trend before, but honestly, this version is polished as hell. Performance is strong on me too, like 7-8 hours with solid projection for the first couple. Great for warm weather, white shirt, nice watch, all that.
This is one of those fragrances I respect more than I love. The opening is really nice—grapefruit and maybe a little ginger sparkle—then it settles into clean woods. Very smooth, very easy, very safe. I can see why people like it because it smells expensive and put together, but for me it’s missing personality. Kinda reminds me of other luxe fresh ambrox-heavy scents, just with better quality materials. Not bad at all, just not memorable enough for the price. It sits closer to the skin after the first hour too, so don’t expect crazy attention. Decent office scent, decent everyday wear, but I wouldn’t hype it.
Tbh Viking really let me down. I was expecting something bold and refined from Creed, but on my skin it just comes off like a spicy citrus blur with some mint on top. The opening is nice for maybe 10 minutes, then it turns kinda flat and old-school in a way that doesn’t feel classy, just dated. For this price, that’s rough. It also didn’t perform that well on me either, maybe 5-6 hours and pretty close to the skin after the first hour. Not horrible, just really underwhelming. I’d reach for something like Terre d’Hermes way before this if I wanted a sharp citrus-spice vibe.
Tbh this was a letdown for me. I was hoping for that bright grapefruit sparkle from the original, but here it feels muted fast, then turns into this bland woody-musky cloud that just sits there. Not offensive, just really underwhelming for something with this name and price. It kinda reminds me of those luxury flankers that try to be smoother and richer but end up losing the personality. Projection was decent for the first hour, then it stayed weirdly close to the skin on me for the rest of the wear. For an extrait, I expected more depth, more bite, more anything really. Super polished, sure, but also kinda boring and overpriced.
