This one feels like comfort perfume for grownups. I mostly get angelica, vanilla, and a soft incense vibe, and somehow it’s both clean-ish and warm at the same time. Not a loud sugar bomb, not a smoky monster either. Just beautifully balanced. I wore it to work and got two compliments, which surprised me because it doesn’t scream across the room. It has that Nishane richness where even the soft parts feel high quality. Totally unisex too, btw. I’d recommend sampling, but wow, I’m impressed.
Okay yeah, this is a 5/5 for me. The pink pepper opening is bright and sparkly for like a minute, then it melts into this plush vanilla-tonka cloud. It’s sweet but not sticky, warm but not heavy. I kept sniffing my wrist like a weirdo. There’s also this resinous base that makes it feel darker and sexier than your usual cozy vanilla. Lasted around 9 hours on my skin with really nice projection for the first few. Expensive, yes, but honestly I’d buy it again.
Hold Me Closer is gorgeous. I get frankincense right away, not churchy or harsh, more like a smooth smoky haze around sweet tonka and vanilla. It’s sweet, but also airy and kinda mysterious. Nothing juvenile here. It reminds me a tiny bit of the cozy amber side of Ani, but softer and more cuddly. I sprayed two sprays and that was enough for the whole day, so go easy. This smells niche in the best way, like someone who knows exactly what they’re doing.
I wanted to love this because lychee + vanilla sounded super fun, but Melodica is more subtle than I expected. It has that clean fruity sweetness in the beginning, almost shampoo-ish in a fancy way, then the ambroxan/musk takes over and makes it smooth but a little generic. I don’t hate it at all, it’s actually very wearable and would be great for the office or warm weather. But there’s nothing here that makes me want to pay Xerjoff prices. Decent scent, just not a standout.
Hold Me Closer surprised me because I expected something super intense from Nishane, but this is actually pretty cuddly. I get angelica in the opening, a little green and airy, then it melts into vanilla and tonka. It’s sweet, but in a grown-up way. Not Delina sweet, not BR540 sweet, more like a resinous blanket. I wore it to dinner and it felt perfect, cozy but still polished. Minor flaw: the drydown can get a bit flat after a few hours, but overall I’d happily wear this often.

Primi Venti is a 5/5 for me, no question. The opening is this tart black currant blast, then it settles into creamy vanilla and clean musk in the prettiest way. It smells expensive but not uptight, like something you could wear dressed up or with a hoodie and still feel amazing. I usually get bored of berry perfumes because they go syrupy, but this stays balanced and kinda addictive. Lasts all day on clothes too. If you like fruity scents with depth, try this.
This is honestly gorgeous. I get a big juicy black currant/blackberry vibe at first, but it’s not sticky candy sweet at all. The vanilla comes in super smooth and makes it feel plush, kinda like dark berry jam on expensive cashmere lol. Xerjoff can sometimes feel a bit too fancy for daily wear, but this one is actually easy to love. Performance is great on me too, around 8+ hours with a really nice scent trail. Def one of the best fruity ambers I’ve tried.

It’s not too sugary, not too musky, not too earthy. Just smooth, addictive, and honestly kinda sexy. My partner noticed it right away and asked what I was wearing, which rarely happens lol. I’d wear this in fall and winter especially, but it’s not so heavy that it’s limited to cold weather. Xerjoff really nailed this.
