This one just hits. From the first spray I get a soft coconut with ambrette that makes it feel warm, musky, and a little dreamy. Then the cashmeran comes through and gives it that fuzzy texture Byredo does so well. It's not loud, not sugary, not trying to be sexy in an obvious way, but somehow it totally is. I wear this on lazy days, dinner dates, even to work because it sits close and never feels too much. Lasts around 7 hours on my skin, longer on a scarf. For me this is one of those perfumes that feels instantly comforting but still a little mysterious.
I love this so much. Slow Dance has that cozy but dressed-up thing that Byredo sometimes nails, and here it really works. On me the cognac hits first, then this soft incense and vanilla cloud starts wrapping around everything. It feels intimate and a little mysterious without going full churchy or overly sweet. Kinda reminds me of the mood of Grand Soir, but less polished and more sensual. Performance is really solid too, I get around 7-8 hours and still catch little wafts on my sweater the next day. Super wearable in cold weather, but still special enough for a night out. Def one of the best from the brand for me.
Slow Dance is gorgeous. The opening has that soft cognac warmth, then the vanilla starts to melt in and the whole thing turns super addictive on my skin. What I really love is how the incense keeps it from getting too dessert-like. It stays grown, cozy, and a little mysterious. I’ve worn this on cold nights, dates, even just at home, and it always makes me happy. It’s not beast mode, but it projects enough that people notice when they’re near you. Very intimate, very chic. If you want something sweet-ish but darker and more mature, I highly recommend this.
Velvet Haze is gorgeous tbh. The musk and patchouli leaf combo gives it this hazy, lived-in warmth, and then the coconut softens everything so it feels plush instead of earthy. I usually don’t go for patchouli-heavy stuff because it can get loud fast, but this is so smooth and controlled. No sharp edges at all. It kinda gives me the cozy, intimate side of a niche scent without trying too hard to be weird. I’ve worn it on dates and just running errands, and it works for both. Projection is moderate for the first couple hours, then it becomes a really pretty skin scent. Def one I’d repurchase.
This is such a pretty, effortless scent. If you see coconut and think tropical body mist, nope — this goes in a totally different direction. On me it’s more soft coconut, cashmeran, and a touch of cacao pod, so it comes off fuzzy, smooth, and slightly cozy rather than sweet. I’m obsessed with how airy it feels while still having depth. It’s one of those perfumes that sits close enough to feel personal but still leaves a nice trail when you move. Lasts about 6-8 hours on me, which is great for this vibe. Honestly one of Byredo’s best. Super chic, super easy to love.
This one surprised me. I expected something heavier, but Slow Dance feels really balanced on skin. The incense gives it a smoky edge, the cognac adds warmth, and then the vanilla softens the whole thing so it never gets too dry. It kinda gives me the same emotional vibe Delina Exclusif gives me in winter, not because it smells similar, just because it feels plush and luxurious. I get why people call it seductive, but for me it's also weirdly comforting. Lasts about 6-7 hours on me with decent projection. Honestly just a beautiful, grown, cozy fragrance that still feels unique.
Tbh this is my favorite Byredo and it’s not even close. A lot of their scents are nice but airy and gone too fast. This one actually has presence. I get incense first, then this rich opoponax glow with vanilla underneath that keeps it from feeling too dry. It’s sexy in a quiet way, not loud or trying too hard. If you like the moodier side of perfume, this is such a win. Not really similar to BR540 or Delina at all, thank god, because it has its own thing going on. Warm, a little nostalgic, and very addictive. Easy 5 stars for me.
This is one of those perfumes that sounds simple on paper and then totally wins you over. The green notes are crisp and slightly watery, and the rhubarb adds this juicy tart edge that makes the whole thing feel alive. I don’t get anything overly sweet, thank god. It smells expensive in that quiet Byredo way. If Delina is dressed up and flirty, La Tulipe is the chic friend in a white button-down with perfect skin. Projection is moderate, maybe an arm’s length for a bit, then it sits closer. Tbh I’m fine with that because it’s so polished and easy. Def one of my favorite fresh florals.
I love this so much. Slow Dance feels like a smoky, resinous vanilla with just enough cognac to make it warm and a little boozy without turning into a full-on liquor scent. The incense in here is gorgeous too, not churchy or harsh, just soft and kinda mysterious. It honestly gives me that dressed-up evening vibe, but I still wear it whenever I want to feel expensive. Super smooth from start to finish. Performance is really good on me too, like 7-8 hours easy with a noticeable scent bubble for the first few hours. Def one of Byredo’s best and way more memorable than a lot of their lighter stuff.
I love this way more than I expected. La Tulipe smells like fresh-cut stems and cool morning air, with that tart rhubarb giving it a little snap so it never turns boring. The freesia keeps it soft and pretty, but not perfumey in a heavy way. It honestly feels effortless, like clean skin plus flowers. Kinda reminds me of the airy side of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, but greener and more natural. On me it lasts around 6 hours, closer to the skin after the first two. Not beast mode, but that works here. Super easy to wear and somehow still feels special every single time.
I really like this one. It opens a little bright with bergamot, then pretty fast turns into this soft, fuzzy coconut-musky cloud that feels super chill and a bit nostalgic. The cacao pod gives it a dry, slightly earthy twist so it doesn’t go full sunscreen or beachy, which I appreciate. Kinda reminds me of the vibe of some skin scents, but more textured and interesting. My only issue is performance — it sits pretty close after a couple hours and I get around 5-6 hours total. Still, I love how effortless and cool it feels. Not loud, not super sexy, just very wearable and a little weird in a good way.
This is one of those perfumes that made me stop and go wow. The patchouli and vanilla are blended so nicely that it comes off deep and cozy instead of sweet or messy. Then the cognac gives it that plush, slightly vintage feeling. Kinda reminds me of being wrapped in a dark velvet scarf at night, which sounds dramatic lol but that’s the vibe. I usually get bored with warm scents because they can feel heavy, but this stays smooth and elegant the whole time. Lasts around 6 hours on me, closer to skin after that. Still, absolutely worth it. This one feels special.
I keep reaching for this when I want to smell fresh but not soapy. The freesia and cyclamen give it that airy floral vibe, but the little woody/vetiver drydown stops it from feeling too delicate. That balance is exactly why I’m obsessed. It’s feminine without being sugary, clean without being boring. Honestly, a lot of “spring” scents disappear on me or smell like shampoo. This one doesn’t. I get a solid 5-6 hours and random little wafts that make me want to sniff my wrist again. Not loud, not trying too hard, just really beautiful. Super versatile too, from work to brunch to whatever.
This is one of those fragrances that doesn’t smell like everything else on the market. Thank god. I get bergamot at first, but the real magic is that musky coconut haze with a slightly dry cacao feel in the background. It’s not gourmand, not tropical, not super floral either — just its own thing. That’s what makes it so good. If Delina is polished and bright, this feels more relaxed, softer, and cooler without being boring. I’ve had random compliments from people standing pretty close, so it’s not beast mode, but it definitely gets noticed. Really beautiful and oddly comforting. Highly recommend if you want something understated but memorable.
Slow Dance is stunning. It has this dark, almost sticky warmth from the opoponax and cognac, then the vanilla comes in and makes it feel smooth instead of sharp. I love that it doesn't go loud in an annoying way. It projects enough that people notice, but it still feels personal and elegant. There's something old-school romantic about it, but not dated at all. More like vintage mood with modern polish. This is the kind of scent that makes me want a scarf, dim lighting, and nowhere to be. Easily 5/5 for me and one I'd actually recommend without hesitation if you like rich, resinous perfumes.
I love this one way more than I expected. The opening has this light bergamot lift, then pretty quickly it turns into a creamy coconut-musk cloud on my skin. It feels dreamy and a little blurry, like the name fits perfectly. There’s also something slightly earthy underneath that keeps it from going beachy or sunscreen-y, which I really appreciate. Kinda reminds me of the softness of Mojave Ghost, but warmer and more intimate. Performance is really solid too — I get around 7 hours and it stays noticeable without screaming. Super wearable, but still unique enough that people ask what you’re wearing. Easy 5 stars for me.
Tbh this is one of the few Byredos that feels fully worth the price to me. It opens a little resinous from the opoponax, then turns into this gorgeous patchouli-vanilla mix that smells rich, smooth, and kind of addictive. Not a sugary vanilla at all, more deep and ambery. I keep sniffing my wrist when I wear it. It has that slow-burn sexy vibe, like cashmere and low lights. Projection is noticeable for the first couple hours, then it sits closer and gets even better. I wouldn't call it an everyday scent, but when I want something warm and memorable, this is exactly it.
I really like this one. Slow Dance smells like warm vanilla wrapped in incense smoke, with that boozy cognac thing giving it a soft, fuzzy sweetness instead of going full party mode. It kinda feels vintage and modern at the same time, which Byredo does really well. On me it starts a little dusty, almost too resinous, but after 20 minutes it settles into this super cozy skin scent that feels intimate and a bit sexy. Not a loud fragrance at all, so if you want beast mode this isn’t it. But for nights out or colder weather? Def works. Minor flaw is the opening can be a little weird, but the drydown is gorgeous.
I really like this one. La Tulipe smells like fresh-cut stems and cool air, with that tart rhubarb in the opening making it feel a little sharp and juicy instead of generic floral. Then the freesia comes in and keeps it super clean and pretty. It kinda gives me the same polished, effortless vibe as other Byredo scents, but this feels brighter and more alive. My only issue is performance: on me it sits pretty close to the skin after a couple hours and I wish it had a bit more projection. Still, for daytime or office wear, it’s def lovely and easy to reach for.
I really like this, maybe more than the original Mojave Ghost. It opens with that airy pear thing, then the ambrette and musk make it feel super smooth and almost creamy on skin. Kinda gives me the same clean-luxury vibe as another Byredo, but this one feels warmer and a little more grounded because of the cedar. My only small issue is that it never gets super exciting — it stays pretty soft and understated the whole way. Still, that’s also why it works so well. Elegant, easy to wear, and def the kind of scent people lean in for instead of smelling across the room. Lasted around 6-7 hours on me with pretty close projection.
