This smells like a fresh shirt, warm skin, and expensive wood furniture in the best way possible. The ginger really pops early on, then the vetiver keeps it crisp while the sandalwood smooths everything out. I’m obsessed with how balanced it is. Some spicy-woody scents go too dry or too rough, but this never does. It stays elegant the whole time. I’ve gotten a few unsolicited compliments with this too, which almost never happens for me. Performance is very solid, around 7 hours and it leaves a nice scent trail for a while. Super versatile, but still has enough character to stand out.
Tbh I expected something simple and one-note because of the name, but this is way better than that. The talc accord is obvious, yeah, but the jasmine and tonka give it this smooth, slightly sweet depth that keeps it from feeling flat. It smells clean and warm at the same time, which is my weakness.
