Silver Ceremony smells clean but not boring, which is hard to pull off. I get a bright bergamot blast at first, then cedar and patchouli start showing up and it gets this smooth woody freshness. It kinda reminds me of the vibe of Gris Charnel if it went citrus-woody instead of tea/cardamom, like very put together and chic. It’s not loud beast mode, but people near you will notice. Super elegant and easy to love.
This is one of those fresh scents that actually feels expensive. The green mandarin is juicy and slightly bitter, and then the labdanum gives it this warm resinous base that keeps it from being basic. Not a typical summer cologne vibe, more like a crisp white shirt with jewelry. I’d wear this to work, brunch, travel, literally anything. Performance is really good for a citrus fragrance too. Def full bottle worthy for me.
I love this way more than I expected. The Italian lemon and bergamot opening is super bright, but not like bathroom cleaner at all. It feels polished, almost champagne-y, then the cedar comes in and makes it smoother and more grown up. Very BDK in that clean elegant way. I wore it to dinner and kept getting little whiffs off my jacket all night. Projection is moderate but it lasts a solid 7 hours on me. Honestly gorgeous.
Oud Paradiso was an instant 5/5 for me. It has that bright bergamot opening that feels fresh and clean, then the incense and saffron come in and make it deeper and more mysterious. I love that it’s sweet and creamy but still grown-up. Nothing screechy, nothing synthetic-smelling to my nose, just smooth and addictive. It’s the kind of perfume I’d wear when I want to smell memorable but not overwhelming. Lasted about 9 hours on clothes too, which is always a win.
