I wanted to love this because it sounds so luxe, but honestly it was a letdown. The opening is this sharp rhubarb/mandarin thing that feels more sour than sparkling, and then the peach comes in a bit syrupy on my skin. It never really settles into anything beautiful or expensive, just kinda muddled with patchouli underneath. For a Clive Christian price tag I expected depth, smoothness, something memorable. Performance is okay, like 5-6 hours, but projection is pretty tame. Not terrible, just super underwhelming and def not worth the money imo.
Tbh I didn’t expect to love Stellar Times this much, but wow. The opening is all airy orange blossom, then it melts into this ambery woody warmth that feels super smooth. Nothing harsh, nothing synthetic to my nose. It has that magical clean-but-warm balance that makes it easy to wear, but still special. I wore it to dinner and kept catching little whiffs from my scarf hours later. It’s not beast mode, but it lasts beautifully and feels classy the whole time.
This is gorgeous in a quiet rich-person way. I mostly get orange blossom and warm amber, with a little woody base that keeps it from being too sweet. It doesn’t scream for attention, but people notice it when they’re close and ask what it is. That’s exactly my style. It feels dressed up but not stiff, like you could wear it with a white shirt and jeans or to a wedding. Expensive? Yep. But honestly it smells expensive too.
