I was surprised by how much I liked this. The Casablanca lily gives it a soft floral richness, but the white musk keeps it airy and wearable. It’s not a loud white floral at all, which is nice because those can get headachey on me fast. There’s a little vanilla warmth in the drydown that makes it feel cozy. I do wish it lasted longer though, I get maybe 5-6 hours max and projection is moderate. Still very pretty and classy.
Okay this one surprised me. I expected something heavy and intense, but Cavort is actually super balanced. The davana gives this slightly boozy fruity twist in the opening, then the incense and sandalwood make it creamy and smoky. It’s cozy but also kinda sexy, like a cashmere sweater at a fancy bar. I’ve tried a lot of spicy woody niche scents and many get too harsh, but this stays smooth the whole time. Longevity is excellent on my skin, around 9 hours. Highly recommend sampling at least.
This is the kind of scent I wear when I want to feel unstoppable. The geranium gives it a slightly aromatic freshness at first, then the saffron and sandalwood come in and it gets warm, smooth, and kinda seductive. I wouldn’t call it loud-loud, but people near you will notice. It feels unisex in the best way, not leaning too sweet or too masculine. Also really well blended, nothing pokes out weirdly. 5/5 for me because it’s interesting but still easy to wear.
Cavort smells like money lol. Not in a flashy BR540 clone way, more like a warm spicy woody fragrance that feels super put together. The cinnamon is soft and classy, not sweet pastry cinnamon, and the patchouli gives it a bit of depth without going earthy basement. I wore this to dinner and kept catching little whiffs from my jacket all night. It lasted forever on clothes too. It’s pricey, yeah, but tbh this one actually smells like a niche luxury perfume to me.
I know people love to hate on Sauvage because it’s popular, but this Extrait is genuinely amazing. It smells premium from start to finish. The vetiver keeps it sharp and clean, while the oud and woods make it darker and more mature. Not as aggressive as Elixir, not as loud as the EDT, just really well blended. It kinda gives luxury department store vibes, in a good way. Great performance, great trail, and super easy to wear. If you want one high-end masculine scent, this is a safe blind buy imo.
Man this is good. Sauvage Extrait smells like someone took the original and gave it a black suit. The opening is smooth and fresh-ish, but it quickly turns woody and slightly smoky. I mostly pick up cedarwood and a clean oud vibe, nothing animalic or challenging. It’s masculine without being basic, and I’ve had two people ask what I was wearing the same day. Lasts forever on clothes too. I wouldn’t overspray because it has presence, but with 2-3 sprays it’s perfect.
I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do tbh. Sauvage Extrait is so smooth compared to the others. The vetiver gives it that clean masculine bite, but the oud underneath makes it feel richer and warmer. It’s not some crazy niche oud bomb, don’t worry, it’s very wearable. I get a lot of cedarwood in the drydown and it smells classy as hell. This is the one I’d wear on a date or nice dinner. Expensive, yeah, but honestly it smells like it.
If you like sweet ambers, try this ASAP. Goddess Amber Vanilla smells creamy, golden, and kinda comforting, like lavender tea with a drizzle of maple syrup, but make it perfume. It doesn’t feel cheap or syrupy at all, which was my main worry. I actually prefer this over a lot of trendy vanilla scents because it has more personality and feels less copy-paste. Lasted about 8 hours on my hoodie and even longer on fabric. Easy 5 stars, I’d buy a big bottle.
Tbh this is one of the best Burberry releases in a while. The amber is so smooth and warm, and the lavender gives it this clean little lift so it doesn’t turn too heavy. I don’t get a ton of syrup at first, but after 20 minutes this soft maple sweetness comes through and it’s addictive. It’s not a beast mode club scent, but it lasts all day close-ish to the skin with a nice scent bubble. Really beautiful and easy to love.

This is really pretty in that quiet Jo Malone way. I get a soft powdery iris vibe with white musk underneath, and just a tiny bit of vanilla smoothing it out. It feels clean but not laundry-clean, more like expensive lotion after a shower. My only issue is it stays pretty close to skin after the first hour, so don’t expect a big trail. Still, I love it for work or lazy days when I want to smell polished without trying too hard.
Gladiator Extrait opens really bright and zesty, mostly bitter orange and lemon to my nose, with a little green apple thing that makes it feel crisp. It’s pleasant for sure, super clean and easy to wear, but I was expecting more drama from the name lol. After an hour it settles into this woody vetiver vibe that’s nice but not exactly memorable. Performance is decent, maybe 6 hours on skin, projection is moderate. I wouldn’t call it bad at all, just not something I’d rush to buy at extrait pricing. Good if you like fresh citrusy woods, but it didn’t wow me.
Oboro is fine, but I wanted a little more from it tbh. The bergamot and ginger opening is clean and slightly spicy, which I liked, but it settles pretty quickly into a soft vetiver/amber thing that feels polite and kinda forgettable. Very Byredo in that airy minimalist way, so if you like subtle scents this might work. On me it’s close to skin after like 2 hours and mostly gone by 5-6. Not bad at all, just not something I’d rush to buy a full bottle of.

This is gorgeous. I get a lot of incense and labdanum after the opening, and it turns into this smoky amber-ish skin scent but with real presence. Not dirty or heavy, just dark and smooth. The saffron gives it that slightly leathery expensive edge that I’m obsessed with. It’s not a safe blind buy if you only like freshies, but if you like warm mysterious scents, wow. My partner immediately asked what I was wearing. Projection is strong for the first few hours then settles beautifully.

This one hits different. I’ve owned the EDT and Elixir, and while those are good, the Extrait feels the most balanced to me. It has the Sauvage DNA but the cedar and vetiver make it cleaner, darker, and less screechy. The oud is there but blended so well that it just adds depth instead of taking over. Projection is strong for the first few hours then sits closer, which I actually like. Super versatile too, I’d wear this to work, dinner, whatever. 5/5 for me.

The cedarwood is super polished and the oud gives it this deep little smoky edge without going full barnyard or weird. I love how confident it smells, like dressed up but not trying too hard. Performance is excellent on me, around 8-10 hours, and people def notice it. If the EDT is loud club energy, this is the grown man version.
This was an instant yes for me. It smells like warm amber and sweet lavender wrapped in a cashmere sweater. The maple syrup is there but it’s not sticky or foodie in a gross way, just cozy and slightly gourmand. I wore two sprays to work and got asked what I was wearing by someone in the elevator, so yeah, it projects nicely. It feels classy but still sexy, like something you’d wear on a casual date and feel effortlessly put together.
