This is one of those perfumes that smells better the longer it’s on skin. The first spray is spicy and a bit medicinal from the saffron, which I didn’t love at first, but give it 20 minutes and the patchouli and sandalwood come through so nicely. It becomes warm, woody, slightly sweet, and kinda addictive. I wouldn’t call it a compliment monster, more like something you wear for yourself or close-up situations. Lasting power is good, projection is moderate. Not perfect, but I keep wanting to smell my wrist.
I love this for days when I want to smell nice but not loud. The amber and maple syrup combo is warm and slightly sticky, but the lavender gives it this clean airy twist so it doesn’t get too heavy. It’s not as dramatic as I expected from the name, tbh. More soft goddess than golden goddess lol. Performance is decent, maybe 5-6 hours, and it sits pretty close after the first hour. I’d def buy a travel size before a full bottle, but I really enjoy wearing it.
Honestly this surprised me. I thought Goddess Amber Vanilla would be basic designer sweetness, but the lavender makes it feel more grown up and calm. The amber is smooth, not scratchy, and the maple syrup adds just enough sweetness to make it cozy. It kinda reminds me of those soft vanilla perfumes people wear with oversized sweaters, but less sugary. I don’t think it’s super unique, and the price is a little much for what it is, but it smells really good. Easy 4/5 for me.
This could’ve easily been too much, but it’s balanced so well. The vanilla is rich, the rum gives it a sexy little edge, and the musk keeps it smooth on skin. It’s sweet, yes, but not juvenile at all. I wouldn’t wear it to the gym or office maybe, but for nights out? Amazing. It has that addictive quality where you catch whiffs and go wow, that’s me. Really beautiful stuff from Sora Dora.
Mandorle Extrait smells super luxe to me. The tonka and cacao combo is so smooth, almost creamy, but there’s this woody softness underneath that makes it feel polished instead of just edible. I usually get bored with sweet perfumes fast, but this one has depth. It kinda gives “quiet rich” gourmand, if that makes sense. Not loud in a screechy way, just present and beautiful. I wore it to dinner and kept smelling my sleeve all night.
This is honestly gorgeous. I get this thick vanilla with rum right away, but it’s not that cheap candle vanilla at all. It feels plush, warm, and kinda addictive, like dessert in a leather chair lol. The suede note keeps it from going too sugary, which I really appreciate. Performance is excellent on me too, easily 8+ hours and people noticed it without me overspraying. If you like cozy gourmands but want something more grown up, def try this.
The opening is pretty, but the drydown is where this really wins me over. That guaiac wood and vanilla combo is insane — warm, smooth, a little smoky, but still soft and elegant. It doesn’t smell like every other rose-vanilla perfume either, which I appreciate. Very feminine but not overly sweet. I got two compliments the first time I wore it, and one person asked if it was niche. Yep, it smells that good. Totally worth the hype to me.
New York 5th Avenue smells like quiet luxury. Not loud, not trying too hard, just really well blended. I mostly get rose, musk, and a soft woody base that feels cashmere-smooth. It kinda reminds me of the vibe of Delina if Delina grew up, got calmer, and started wearing tailored coats. Nothing screechy here at all. Lasts ages on clothes and around 7 hours on skin. If you like refined feminine scents, this is an easy yes.

Cavort surprised me because I expected something super heavy, but it’s actually pretty wearable. I get a lot of labdanum and incense after the spicy opening, and it has this resinous sweetness that smells classy without being old-school. Not really a fresh scent at all, so I wouldn’t wear it in summer heat, but for fall/winter it’s lovely. It kinda reminds me of those niche spicy amber perfumes that smell rich but still approachable. Minor complaint: for the price, I wanted a little more wow factor. Still very good though.
I really like Cavort. It opens with this saffron-cinnamon thing that feels warm and a little flashy, but not in a loud club-fragrance way. The sandalwood smooths it out fast and makes it feel expensive. Kinda gives me dressed-up evening vibes, like black shirt, nice dinner, low lighting. My only issue is the opening can feel a bit sharp for the first 10 minutes, almost too much spice, but then it settles beautifully. Performance is solid on me, around 7 hours with decent projection. Def one of the better Fragrance Du Bois ones I’ve tried.

If you already like Sauvage, you’ll probably enjoy this. I just don’t think it’s different enough to be a must-have.

The caramel is there, but the cashmere wood makes it feel soft and fuzzy, almost like a really expensive sweater. Projection is strong for the first few hours, then it sits closer but still lasts forever on clothes. Tbh this is one of those perfumes that makes me feel instantly put together. 5/5 easy.
This is one of those perfumes that just smells expensive from the first spray. The bergamot opening is fresh and bright, then the rose comes in really soft and pretty. What I love most is that it never turns powdery or sharp on me. The musk makes it clean but still sensual, like fresh skin with money lol. I’d wear this to work, brunch, a wedding, basically anywhere I want to smell put together. Beautiful stuff.
