Cavort is just beautifully blended. Nothing jumps out in an annoying way, but I mostly get saffron, sandalwood, and a soft smoky incense underneath. It’s warm, cozy, and classy all at once. Some spicy scents get harsh on my skin, but this stays smooth from start to finish. It kinda reminds me of the vibe of a niche amber fragrance, but more refined and less sweet. Definitely not a blind buy because the price is wild, but if you like elegant spicy woods, you need to sample it. Absolute stunner.
Cavort is gorgeous. It has this incense and labdanum combo that gives it a smoky amber vibe, but it never gets too heavy or churchy. It’s dark, smooth, and kinda seductive without screaming for attention. I get why people call Fragrance Du Bois overpriced sometimes, but tbh this one actually smells luxurious to me. It’s not a basic crowd-pleaser like BR540 or Aventus-type stuff, it has more personality. Lasts all day on clothes and leaves a really nice trail. 5/5 for me, easy.
I love this one so much. It’s not the loud club Sauvage people make jokes about, it’s darker and way more refined. The vetiver gives it this dry, clean edge, and the oud adds depth without turning barnyard or weird. Honestly this feels like something you wear on a date or a nice night out when you want to smell confident. It lasts forever on my hoodie too. If you already like Sauvage but want the grown man version, this is it.
This is easily my favorite Sauvage. The Extrait feels way smoother and deeper than the EDT, less shouty and more expensive smelling. I get a dark cedarwood vibe right away, with this clean smoky oud in the background that never gets too funky. It still has that Sauvage DNA, but dressed in a black coat if that makes sense. Super masculine, super polished. Performance is great on me too, like 8+ hours and people notice it without it choking the room. 5/5 for me.
This is gorgeous. I was expecting a basic vanilla amber, but the maple syrup note makes it feel kinda special and addictive. It’s sweet, yes, but the amber gives it depth and the lavender adds this pretty airy touch. Not really like Delina or BR540, more of a cozy Burberry sweater vibe. I sprayed it before dinner and could still smell it on my scarf the next day. Def 5/5 for me, especially if you like sweet perfumes that still feel classy.

I got a couple compliments wearing it, so it definitely works. Just wish it had a bit more character for an extrait.
Sauvage Extrait surprised me because I thought it would be too heavy, but it’s honestly pretty wearable. I get a lot of dry woods and vetiver, kinda clean but still masculine and a bit mysterious. The oud doesn’t take over, which I appreciate because some designer oud scents get weird fast. This one is safe enough for going out but still has that darker edge. I wouldn’t wear it in high heat, but fall/winter? Perfect. Minor flaw is that it can feel a little too polished, almost too perfect.

Not gonna lie, I thought this would be another fancy woody-spicy fragrance that smells nice but boring. Nope. Cavort has a real vibe. The davana gives it this slightly boozy, fruity-herbal edge that makes the cinnamon and woods feel alive. It’s warm and sensual but not sweet in a childish way. More grown, more confident. I’d wear this with a black outfit, leather jacket, dinner plans… you get it. Longevity is excellent on me, easily 9 hours. Expensive yes, but this is one I’d actually save up for.

The saffron is smooth and slightly leathery to my nose, and the patchouli gives it depth without going earthy or dirty. I usually struggle with patchouli, but here it’s blended so well. Cavort feels rich but still wearable, which is hard to pull off. I got two compliments the first time I wore it, and one was from someone who usually hates perfume lol.
