Fresh but still sexy

I love this one. Darley has that crisp mint-lavender opening that grabs you right away, but it dries down into something softer and kinda creamy with tonka. It reminds me a little of classic fougeres, just cleaner and more modern, like an old-school gentleman got an expensive upgrade. Super easy to wear, but not boring at all. Tbh this is one of the few fresh scents that still feels date-night worthy because it has a subtle warmth underneath. People always talk about Layton, but Darley deserves way more hype. Lasts around 6-7 hours for me, which is totally fine for this style. Really classy stuff.

Underrated PDM for sure

Tbh I barely hear people talk about Darley and I don't get why. This stuff is gorgeous. I get a bright minty opening, some soft lavender, then this creamy tonka/woods base that makes it feel cozy and really put together. Kinda reminds me of a more upscale, smoother take on a classic fougere, but with that Parfums de Marly richness. It smells masculine without being harsh. I love this for work, dinner, pretty much anything. It also lasts way better than I expected from a fresher scent, easy 6-8 hours on me. Super likable, super wearable, and still has personality.

A sleeper hit from PDM

This might be one of the most underrated bottles in the whole brand. Darley opens with a really nice lavender and mint combo, fresh but not toothpaste-y, thank god. Then it settles into this smooth tonka/woodsy drydown that feels rich and super well blended. What I really love is how natural it smells. No weird screechy synthetic edge, no harshness, just a clean refined scent that keeps getting better as it dries down. It’s not trying to be flashy like some compliment-bomb fragrances, but people definitely notice it. Great projection early on, then it sits a bit closer. Just a classy, easy 5/5 for me.

Fresh barbershop done right

This is so good. Darley has that clean lavender/mint thing up top that instantly gives classy barbershop vibes, but it never feels old or dusty on me. The tonka in the drydown smooths everything out and makes it feel really polished and kinda addictive. I love how it smells expensive without trying too hard. Super easy to wear, but still interesting enough that I keep going back to my wrist. Performance is great too, around 7-8 hours with solid projection for the first couple hours. Honestly one of the easiest 5-star PDMs for me. If you like refined fresh scents with a warm backbone, this is def worth trying.

Nice citrus, just very safe

This is pleasant, no doubt. I get a crisp bitter orange / bigarade vibe up top with some clean citrus peel and a soft woody drydown. It smells polished in that classic Creed way, but tbh it also feels a little too restrained for me. Nothing really pops, and after the first hour it sits pretty close to the skin. I don't dislike it at all, it's just one of those "yeah, that's nice" fragrances rather than something I crave. Super easy to wear to work or in warm weather, but for the price I wanted more personality and better performance. Decent, classy, kind of forgettable.

Minty classy sleeper

Darley is one of those PDMs nobody talks about enough. I get a really smooth mint up top with lavender and a warm tonka drydown, and the whole thing feels super polished without being loud. Kinda reminds me of an old-school barbershop vibe, but cleaner and more modern. What I love is how easy it is to wear — office, dinner, whatever, it just works. Only minor flaw for me is that it doesn’t have the big wow factor of some other PDMs. Still, it smells really good and put together. On me it lasts around 6-7 hours with decent projection for the first couple hours.

Fresh but not boring

I really like this one. The opening has that bright citrus thing going on, then the lavender comes in and it settles into a soft vanilla/tonka base that feels cozy without turning heavy. It gives me classy masculine energy, kinda like a niche take on a fougere, but not dusty or dated. My only issue is the price because honestly it’s very nice, just not super unique for the money. That said, I love how balanced it is. Clean, slightly sweet, easy to reach for. Performance is solid too — not beast mode, but definitely enough to get through most of the day.

Pretty but kinda generic

This is nice, just not very memorable to me. I get a sweet vanilla vibe with some soft floral tones, maybe a little amber in the background, and it definitely smells polished. Nothing wrong with it at all. It’s feminine, smooth, easy to wear. But for the price and the whole Bvlgari luxury angle, I wanted something with more personality. It kinda sits in that crowd-pleasing designer lane where you go “oh that’s pretty” and then forget it 10 minutes later. Performance is decent on my skin, around 5-6 hours, but projection stays pretty close. Good if you want something safe, not so much if you want a standout scent.

Smooth but a little bland

I don't hate Darley at all, but 3/5 feels right. It opens really pleasant with bergamot and mint, then settles into this clean lavender/ambery sweetness that feels classy enough. Super wearable, def versatile, and I can see why people call it elegant. But that's also the issue for me... it plays everything very safe. No wow moment, no addictive twist, nothing that makes me reach for it over stuff I already own. If you like a softer fresher take on masculine scents, this works. Just don't expect beast mode or anything super unique. On my skin it stays kinda close after a while.

Smooth mint and tonka magic

I love this one because it hits that rare sweet spot between fresh and warm. The mint in the opening is crisp and super satisfying, then the tonka comes in and gives it this soft almost creamy feel. There’s also a subtle lavender touch that keeps it classy. It kinda gives me designer ease but niche quality, if that makes sense. Not really like Layton or Percival either, this has its own vibe. Clean, confident, a little cozy. I can wear it daytime, date night, even to the office and it never feels wrong. Lasts around 7 hours on me, which is more than enough.

Minty class in a bottle

This stuff is so underrated. Darley opens with this super clean mint and citrus thing, then the lavender comes in and makes it feel really polished without going full barbershop. I love how smooth it stays the whole way through. It’s fresh, but not basic fresh. There’s a warm tonka vibe underneath that keeps it from feeling thin or sporty. Honestly kinda feels like what I wanted from a lot of “blue” fragrances, just way more refined. I’ve worn it dressed up and in a hoodie and it works both ways. Performance is really solid too, easy 7-8 hours on me with nice projection for the first couple hours. Def a hidden gem in the PDM lineup.

Date night barbershop

This is such a handsome scent. The mint and lavender give it that crisp fresh opening, but the drydown is where I’m hooked — warm tonka with a little creamy softness that makes it feel really sexy in a low-key way. Not loud, not trying too hard. If Layton is the flashy one, Darley is the guy in a great blazer who doesn’t need attention. I love that about it. Minor flaw: it can feel a bit safe, and I wish the opening lasted longer because that part is so good. Still def a winner for cooler evenings and close-up situations.

Smooth and super wearable

Tbh Darley surprised me. I expected something sharper, but it’s actually really smooth from start to finish. I get lavender first, then a fresh minty touch, and later a sweet vanilla-ish warmth that keeps it from smelling too soapy. It kinda sits between clean and cozy, which I love. This is not the PDM you buy if you want compliments from across the room though. Projection is more controlled, and after a few hours it stays closer to the skin. But as an easy, classy wear? Super good. It feels refined and effortless, like something you wear when you want to smell great without making a whole statement.

Classy but still easygoing

Darley feels like the guy who is always well dressed without looking like he tried too hard. The lavender is clean, the mint gives it a little sparkle, and then the sandalwood-ish warmth in the base keeps it from going too sharp. I love that balance. Some fresh aromatic scents disappear fast or turn soapy, but this one stays smooth the whole way through. Not loud beast mode, but definitely enough presence to get noticed. I got a couple compliments wearing this in cooler spring weather and it felt perfect. To me this is elegant, sexy, and way more versatile than a lot of niche stuff.

Nice minty barbershop vibe

Darley is decent, just not one I ever crave. I get a fresh mint/lavender thing up top with a soft tonka drydown, and it honestly smells clean and polished. Kinda like a modern barbershop fragrance without going full old-man mode. The problem is it never really gets exciting for me. It sits in that "yeah this is good" lane the whole time and never turns into anything memorable. Performance is alright, around 6 hours on me, with moderate projection for the first hour or two. Easy to wear to work, easy to like, but for PDM money I wanted something with more personality tbh.

Fresh but not memorable

Kinda reminds me of those upscale hotel lobby scents: clean citrus, a slightly bitter orange note, maybe a touch of green neroli, and that's basically the story. It's airy and elegant, so I can see the appeal if you want something easy and non-offensive. But on me it never gets beyond "pleasant background scent." Projection is weak and I got maybe 5-6 hours before it was basically gone. Not bad, not amazing, just decent. If you love understated fresh scents you'll probably enjoy it more than I did, but I wouldn't pick this over a lot of other citrus fragrances in the same lane.

Sweet date scent, not wow

I can see why some people like this for a night out. It has that creamy sweet style with vanilla and a hint of floral sweetness that feels cozy and a little sexy, kinda like a softer, less exciting take on some mainstream date perfumes. Not Delina level sparkle, not super unique, just pleasant. My issue is it never really develops much. It opens sweet, stays sweet, and that’s basically the ride. I don’t hate it, but I also wouldn’t go out of my way to wear it over other options in my collection. Lasts okay, maybe 6 hours, with moderate projection for the first hour then it chills out.

Pretty citrus, then basically gone

I wanted to like this way more than I did. The opening has a nice bitter orange / bergamot thing going on, super crisp and classy for like... 15 minutes. Then it just turns into a vague airy citrus musk and sits really close to the skin. For a Creed, this feels weirdly unfinished to me. Not offensive at all, just kinda boring and way too fleeting. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen, maybe a green twist or some depth, but nope. If you want a fresh citrus, there are cheaper options that do the same job and last longer. Tbh this one feels really overpriced for what it is.

Pretty bottle, letdown scent

I really wanted to love this because Baciami sounds like it should be super sexy and lush, but on me it just came off weirdly generic. I get a sweet vanilla thing with some floral powder and a musky drydown, but none of it feels smooth or special. It kinda reminded me of those expensive designer scents that try to be seductive and end up smelling flat. For the price, this feels super overpriced tbh. Projection was there for maybe an hour, then it sat really close to the skin and got a little synthetic. Not awful, just disappointing. I expected something richer and more memorable for a 2/5 experience.

Minty barbershop letdown

I wanted to like Darley way more than I actually did. The opening has this nice mint and lavender thing for like 10 minutes, and then it just turns kinda flat and old-school on my skin. Not in a classy Herod or Layton way either, more like a generic barbershop scent that got watered down. The tonka sweetness in the drydown is there, but it never feels smooth enough to save it. For a PdM, this feels seriously overpriced tbh. Performance wasn’t awful, maybe 5-6 hours, but projection got close to the skin pretty fast. Just expected something richer and more memorable.
