Smooth, warm and a little addictive. The amber and musk dry down is the best part: it stays close but people still notice. This one is going straight into my winter rotation.
Ordered a sample on a whim and loved it straight away. Smells like ripe cherries on warm skin. The rose adds depth without making it old fashioned. Big sillage for the first few hours.
Got three compliments the first day I wore it. It opens with a burst of dark cherry, then gets creamy and warm. Kinda reminds me of a less sugary Lost Cherry. Performance is great, 8+ hours easily.
Rich and elegant without being heavy. Cherry and rose together feel very grown up, and the amber gives it a lovely warmth. I wear it out to the theatre and it lasts well past midnight.
I'm usually not into fruity scents but this one is different. The cherry feels natural, not candy, and the amber base is gorgeous. Two sprays is plenty. Def one of my favourite Matière Première scents.
Got this for myself even though it reads fruity floral on paper. On me the rose stays in the background and it comes across as warm amber with a red fruit edge. Lasts all day and my partner keeps stealing it.
This is exactly the cherry I was looking for. Juicy at first, then it melts into amber and musk and just glows on the skin. Projection is strong for the first couple of hours. Instant favourite this fall.
Absolutely gorgeous. Ripe cherry, a velvety rose and then this warm musky amber that stays on my skin all day. It feels luxurious but easy to wear. Already on my second decant.
Warm and smooth, almost boozy from the cherry and amber together. The musk at the end is soft and clean. Not super loud but it lingers on scarves for days. Really nice autumn scent.
The rose in the heart is what sold me. Rich, not soapy at all, and the cherry makes it feel playful. Wore it to dinner and got asked what I had on twice. Would love it a little less sweet in the dry down.
Was worried this would be a cough-syrup cherry but it isn't. It's a darker, almost almondy cherry sitting on warm amber. Lasted most of the workday on me. Docking one star because it gets pretty close to the skin later on.
Really well blended. The cherry is dark and slightly nutty and the amber is soft rather than resiny. Lasts around 7 hours on me with moderate projection. Would happily wear it all season.
The cherry opening is lovely, kinda like dark cherry syrup, but on me the amber turns a bit too sweet after an hour. Rose is there but quiet. Nice for cold evenings, just not a full bottle for me tbh.

Wanted to love this but the cherry goes a bit medicinal on my skin after the first hour and the sweetness keeps building. The rose in the middle is pretty. Might work better in deep winter, for me it was just too much.
Okay wow, this one is so good. Vanilla Scotch smells like amber, soft tonka, and a splash of whiskey all blended together perfectly. Nothing screechy, nothing too sugary, just smooth and addictive. I kept sniffing my wrist all day. It has that cozy sweater feeling but still feels polished, like you could wear it out and not smell like a candle. Projection is moderate, but people close to you will def notice. Highly recommend if you wanted Jo Malone to do something richer and warmer.
This is gorgeous. I get mostly creamy tonka and amber with that whiskey edge in the opening, and it smells expensive without trying too hard. Kinda reminds me of those niche boozy gourmands, but cleaner and more wearable. It’s not loud beast mode, but it does last surprisingly well for Jo Malone, maybe 6-8 hours on clothes. I’d wear this on cold nights, dinner dates, or anytime I wanna smell warm and a little sexy. Zero complaints tbh.
I honestly love this way more than I expected. The whiskey note is smooth, not harsh or like you spilled actual booze on yourself, and it melts into this warm amber-tonka thing that feels super cozy. It’s sweet, but not cupcake sweet. More like a fancy vanilla drink by a fireplace. Very unisex too, which I love. On me it lasts around 7 hours and sits in a nice little scent bubble. Def one of the best Jo Malone releases if you like warm boozy scents.
5/5 for me, no question. This smells like vanilla soaked in smooth whiskey, but in a really refined way. Not juvenile, not syrupy, not headachey. The amber gives it this golden warmth that feels perfect for fall nights, leather jackets, cozy bars, all of that. I’ve tried a lot of vanilla perfumes and this one stands out because it’s not just sweet, it has character. It sits fairly close after a couple hours, but I don’t even care because the scent itself is stunning.
Vanilla Scotch is so well done. The whiskey is definitely there in the opening, but it’s rounded out fast by tonka bean so it never gets sharp. I usually find boozy perfumes too heavy or gimmicky, but this one feels polished and super wearable. It’s warm, a little sweet, and has that soft amber glow that makes you want to spray your sweater. Lasted around 6 hours on my skin, longer on fabric. Easily one of my fave Jo Malone scents now.
