I honestly like this more than I expected. Tangerine can go screechy on my skin, but here it’s rounded out with that honey vibe and it feels really soft and wearable. The tobacco leaf gives it a tiny bit of depth, though don’t expect anything dark or boozy. It’s more brunch than cigar lounge lol. Very office friendly, very pretty, and it layers well with woody scents too. I do wish it projected more because people only notice it if they’re close, but for a low-key citrus scent it’s really nice.
This is such a happy scent. I get juicy tangerine right away, but it’s not like a cheap citrus body spray… there’s this soft honeyed sweetness that makes it feel smoother and more grown up. The tobacco leaf is super subtle on me, more like a dry cozy edge than actual smoky tobacco. It’s very Jo Malone in that clean, airy way. My only issue is longevity, it’s around 4-5 hours and then it’s basically a skin scent. Still, I love wearing it on sunny days when I want something easy and cheerful.

Alone in Babylon feels like one of those perfumes that makes regular designer scents seem boring for a while. I mostly get leather, vanilla and that strange nail polish vibe in the opening, but somehow it’s addictive instead of messy. It’s warm, smoky-sweet, a little industrial, and really sensual. Not office friendly imo unless your office is an art gallery, but for nights out it’s insane. Beast mode on my skin too. If you want clean and easy, skip it. If you want memorable, this is it.

Then the tuberose blooms and makes it creamy instead of harsh. It’s super artistic but still wearable if you like weird beauties. Performance is huge on me, easily all day, and people def notice it. 5/5 because it actually feels original.
