Ombré Leather Reserve feels like the grown-up, tailored version of Ombré Leather. Less raw cowboy saddle, more sleek black coat in a fancy hotel bar. I get leather, cypress, and a soft benzoin warmth underneath. It’s bold but super smooth, which is what makes it a 5/5 for me. Not everyone will call this “easy,” but if leather is your thing, this is honestly stunning. Projection is strong for the first couple hours then sits closer, but it sticks around forever on clothes.
If you like Tom Ford leather scents, you’ll probably enjoy this. It’s not as dirty as Tuscan Leather and not as simple as the original Ombré Leather. The juniper gives it a fresh gin-like vibe up top, then the black leather comes in smooth and confident. I love that it feels upscale but still wearable, not costume-y. Lasts a good 8 hours on my skin, though it doesn’t scream across the room. Minor flaw is it feels a bit safe for a Reserve version, but it smells really good.
Opening was a bit sharp for me tbh. The black pepper comes in pretty spicy and almost prickly, but give it 30 minutes and it turns into this warm, resinous leather with benzoin underneath. That drydown is gorgeous. Smooth, slightly sweet, and expensive smelling without being too glossy. Projection is good for the first couple hours then it sits closer, which I actually prefer with heavy leather scents. I’d rate it high, just not perfect because the opening can be a little much.
I actually like the opening here more than the drydown. The juniper and cypress give it this crisp, almost outdoorsy edge that makes the leather feel cleaner and less heavy. After a while though it turns into a pretty standard smooth leather scent, and I kept waiting for something more interesting to happen. It’s wearable and not as loud as some Tom Ford stuff, which is a plus, but also makes it feel kinda unnecessary. Not bad at all, just very “yeah, okay.” I’d wear it in cooler weather, but I wouldn’t rush to buy a bottle.

Elysium Eau Intense is easily signature-worthy for me. The grapefruit opening is bright and addictive, then the vetiver and leather give it just enough edge so it doesn’t feel basic. It’s fresh, masculine, classy, and honestly pretty sexy without being sweet or heavy. I like that it works with a t-shirt or a blazer. Performance surprised me too, way better than I expected from something this fresh. Around 8 hours and still catching little whiffs later. If you want one high-end fresh scent, this is a serious contender.

Yeah, definitely. But if I’m judging the smell only, it’s absolutely a 5.

Projection is noticeable but not obnoxious, and it lasts a full workday on clothes. Honestly hard to hate unless you only like sweet gourmands.
Elysium Eau Intense smells like a guy who has his life together lol. The bergamot and lavender combo is fresh and classy, and there’s a subtle leather/ambergris feel underneath that gives it some depth. I love that it’s not overly sweet or shower gel-ish. It has a bit of sharpness in the opening that might bother some people, but it settles really nicely after 20 minutes. Projection is moderate, longevity is solid. Great office scent, also works for dates if you want something refined.

Tbh this is the version of Elysium I always wanted. The grapefruit is still there, but the Eau Intense feels deeper and smoother. Not cheap at all, obviously, but the quality is obvious. I wore it to dinner and got asked what it was twice, so yeah… this one works.
