Maison D'Orsay says it has been a perfume house since 1830, when Alfred d'Orsay created a fragrance to share with Marguerite de Blessington. In 2015 Amélie Huynh discovered the house and relaunched its fragrances as unisex, working with perfumers such as Olivia Giacobetti, Fanny Bal and Dominique Ropion. Tonka Hysteria, a 2024 extrait de parfum at 35% concentration, opens with olibanum, cinnamon, pink pepper and mandarin and rests on tonka bean, vanilla and benzoin.
