Questions

What is the Scento perfume database?

Scento's verified perfume database lists 1,419 perfumes from 141 houses, with the notes of each perfume traced to the house's own published list or to an authorized retailer's list. It also explains 420 raw materials and sorts every perfume into Scento's own 14 scent families.

Where do the notes come from?

Every note pyramid is taken from the list the house itself publishes or, where the house publishes none, from an authorized retailer's listing. Each page names its source and the date it was checked.

Can I use the data in my own tools?

Yes. The same data is open through the free Scento Perfume API and MCP server, with no key and no account. The developer page explains how to connect it.
