This is so good. Guerlain took oud and made it feel smooth, soft, and weirdly addictive instead of loud or harsh. I get a creamy sandalwood/vanilla cloud first, then that little touch of incense keeps it from going too sweet. The almond gives it this plush, almost cosmetic warmth that I really love. It feels expensive in the way Guerlain usually does, but more intimate and sensual. Kinda reminds me of a softer, more polished take on an oud-vanilla combo rather than a typical Middle Eastern bomb. Lasted around 8 hours on me with solid projection for the first 2-3. Honestly one of the easiest 5-star ouds for me.
This is gorgeous. I get a bright little flash of bergamot at first, then it settles into this warm, resinous cloud with benzoin and sandalwood that feels super polished. The spice is there, but it’s not loud or harsh at all, just blended in a really classy Guerlain way. Kinda reminds me of what I wish more “spicy” perfumes smelled like: rich, smooth, and actually wearable. I love how comforting it is without turning boring. On me it lasts easily 7-8 hours and keeps this elegant aura the whole time. Def one of those scents that makes you stand a little straighter when you wear it.
This one took me a few wears, tbh. At first the artemisia in the top felt a little sharp and almost herbal-clean to me, and I wasn’t sure where it was going. But once the patchouli and benzoin settle in, wow. It turns into this warm, slightly mysterious skin scent that feels super put together. Not sweet like BR540, not rosy like Delina, just its own thing. I really love that it smells refined without trying too hard. My only issue is that the opening and drydown almost feel like two different perfumes. Still very good though, and I keep reaching for it when I want something understated but special.
Épices Volées isn’t trying to be beast mode and that’s part of why I love it. The lemon and coriander opening gives it a clean sparkle, then the labdanum comes in and makes everything feel soft, ambery, and expensive. It smells like someone with very good taste, not someone chasing compliments, even though I still got a few. Tbh this is one of the few spicy scents I’d happily wear dressed up or with a sweater and jeans. It’s refined but still cozy. Projection is more moderate than huge, but the scent itself is so beautiful I really don’t care.

Oud Nude is not trying to be some dark scary oud monster, and I’m very glad for that. It’s more like luxury fabric on warm skin. I’d actually call it versatile for an oud fragrance because it’s refined enough for dinner, work, or just when you want to smell expensive. Maybe a little overpriced, sure, but the scent itself is gorgeous. Easy 5 stars from me.

Performance is excellent too — easy 8+ hours and I still catch it on clothes the next day. Honestly one of the most wearable luxury ouds I’ve tried. Sexy, cozy, polished. Def worth sampling if you like warm scents with a little mystery.

After that it’s mostly a dry oud/leather thing that comes off kinda harsh and a little medicinal on my skin. The cinnamon in the opening is nice for like five minutes, then it turns flat. For a Guerlain exclusive, this smells way less polished than I expected. Not sexy, not cozy, just awkward. It does last a while, so I’ll give it that, but the vibe is more expensive experiment than something I’d actually want to wear.
I really wanted to love this because peach + leather sounded so good on paper, but this just goes weird on me. The opening has a juicy peach thing for like five minutes, then the saffron comes in and turns it dry and kinda medicinal. After that it’s mostly a fuzzy amber-leather cloud that feels more harsh than sexy. Not getting much Guerlain magic here tbh. It also sits pretty close to the skin, which would be fine if the scent itself was better, but for this price? Nah. Kinda reminds me of those fruity-leather niche scents that try to be edgy and just end up smelling awkward.
