This is probably my favorite Maison Crivelli right now. It has that signature textured feel, but here it’s wrapped around a beautiful saffron note that smells rich and almost golden. Then I get this soft leather and a cozy balsamic warmth that makes it feel super elegant and kinda intimate at the same time. I love that it smells luxurious without trying too hard. It’s not fresh, not clean, not office-safe in the strictest sense, but wow it’s good. More of a cool weather or night out scent for me. Lasts really well and leaves a gorgeous trail. Def worth trying if you want something unique but still very wearable.
This is gorgeous. I mostly get creamy sandalwood with a soft fig sweetness and a little cardamom sparkle in the opening. It feels super smooth and polished, but not boring at all. Kinda has that serene, expensive vibe Guerlain does so well. The oud is there, but on me it stays very tame and just gives the woods more depth instead of going funky or harsh. I love this because it smells comforting and luxe at the same time, which is rare. Lasts around 7-8 hours on me with a nice soft trail. If you like woody scents but want something gentler and more refined, this is such an easy 5 stars.
This is honestly one of the prettiest sandalwood scents I’ve tried in a long time. The opening has that soft cardamom lift, then the fig comes in and makes it feel creamy and a little green without turning milky or weird. After that it’s mostly smooth sandalwood with a resinous touch from the myrrh, and wow, it smells expensive. Super polished but still comforting. I love this because it feels niche-level refined without trying too hard. Kinda gives me the same calming effect as Santal 33, but way softer and more elegant to my nose. Performance is great too, easy 7-8 hours on me with a nice scent bubble.
I’m obsessed with this. Santal Pao Rosa has that whole quiet luxury vibe where nothing screams, but everything smells really well made. The fig is smooth and slightly sweet, the oud is super controlled, and the sandalwood is the star the whole way through. No harsh medicinal wood here, thank god. It just smells creamy, warm, and insanely classy. Tbh this is the kind of fragrance that makes me want to wear better clothes. Not really a loud compliment monster, but people close to you will notice and probably ask what it is. Lasts around 6 hours on my skin, longer on clothes. Def recommend if you like elegant woods over sugary stuff.
This is so good. Safran Secret takes that warm saffron vibe and makes it feel textured and almost glowing, not just spicy for the sake of it. I get saffron first, then this soft suede/leathery feel with a dry woody base that keeps it classy. Kinda gives me a luxury niche version of the warm-amber mood people like in BR540, but way less sugary and way more interesting. It smells expensive, smooth, and super put together. Performance is excellent too, easy 8+ hours on me with very noticeable projection for the first few hours. Def a standout and one of those scents that makes you keep smelling your wrist.
Tbh this is one of those scents that sneaks up on you. At first I thought, okay nice cardamom, nice woods, cool. Then the drydown got warmer and a little resinous from the myrrh, and I kept smelling my wrist. It’s not loud or flashy, just smooth and intimate in a really attractive way. I love this for evenings when I don’t want something sweet or obvious. The only reason it’s not a full 5 stars for me is the opening is a touch vague and the oud feels almost too tame. But overall? Very classy, very wearable, and it smells expensive as hell.
Some Maison Crivelli stuff can go a little abstract on me, but this one clicked instantly. It’s centered on saffron, but I also pick up a warm ambery sweetness and a touch of leather that makes it feel smooth instead of scratchy. Really balanced. Not too animalic, not too sugary, not too dry. Just really well done. I’ve gotten a few unsolicited compliments with this, which honestly surprised me because it smells artistic without being weird. Kinda feels like the love child of a luxe suede scent and a glowing spice bomb. Great staying power too, around 7-9 hours on me. Easy recommendation.
What I really like here is that it smells unique without turning weird or difficult. The saffron is front and center, but I also get a soft resinous warmth and a smooth woody trail that makes it feel really elegant. It has that Maison Crivelli signature “transportive” thing, like you’re smelling spice in a cool dark room full of expensive textiles. Sounds dramatic, but that’s exactly the vibe. It’s rich enough for special occasions, but I’d still wear it casually because it sits so nicely after the opening. Great projection at first, then it settles closer after a few hours. Still lasted most of the day on me.
I actually like this more than I expected, but it's still a solid 3/5 for me. The fig gives it a slightly green, creamy vibe and the sandalwood keeps it smooth, while the oud is super toned down. If you're scared of loud medicinal oud, don't be. This is way more wearable than that. It kinda reminds me of those luxe woody scents that smell nice in the moment but don't leave a big impression later. Good for office or everyday stuff because it's not pushy at all. Downside is exactly that though: it's almost too restrained. Lasted about 6 hours on skin, with soft projection. Pleasant, refined, not very exciting.
This surprised me because the fig makes it feel less dry than I expected. There’s this soft green-creamy touch up top, then the sandalwood comes in and keeps everything smooth. Super wearable, super easy to like. It kinda reminds me of the idea of Santal 33 cleaned up and made more luxe, without the pickle thing. I love this for daytime, especially when I want something that smells expensive but low-key. Minor flaw: projection is pretty moderate, so don’t expect compliments from across the room. Still lasts around 6 hours on me though. Really nice balance of comfort and polish.
I love this way more than I expected. The cardamom in the opening gives it this airy spice, then the myrrh starts peeking through and makes the whole thing feel smooth and slightly smoky. The sandalwood is gorgeous here, creamy but not too sweet, and the oud just adds depth instead of taking over. That balance is what really got me. It’s rich without being heavy, and refined without being boring. Kinda reminds me of some high-end woody attars, but cleaner and easier to wear. This is absolutely signature scent worthy if you’re into warm woods. Great longevity too, around 8 hours and solid projection for the first couple.
Some woody perfumes make me appreciate them more than actually enjoy wearing them. This is not one of those. I genuinely love wearing Santal Pao Rosa because it’s just so smooth and easy. The cardamom gives a little sparkle up top, the sandalwood is creamy and calming, and the oud stays in the background where it should. Everything feels blended to perfection. No rough edges, no funky animalic twist, no headache. Just gorgeous, luxe woodiness. Tbh this is one of those scents that makes a simple outfit feel more put together. It projects nicely without becoming too much and lasts most of the day on me. Pricey, yes, but the quality is there.
Tbh this one surprised me. I expected something heavier, but Santal Pao Rosa feels airy and intimate even with myrrh and oud in the mix. The fig gives it this smooth, almost milky feel, and the sandalwood is just beautiful here. Not sharp, not dusty, just creamy and natural. It kinda reminds me of the calmer side of Santal 33 without the pickle thing, and way more luxurious. This isn’t beast mode, but I actually love that about it. It sits close enough to feel personal, yet people definitely notice when they hug you. Super classy, super wearable, and one of those scents I keep sniffing my wrist for.
I love this one. It feels like saffron wrapped in amber and a little smoke, but nothing goes harsh or heavy. There’s something really addictive here, like warm skin and fabric at the same time. Super sexy without being loud in an annoying way. If you like spicy-woody scents but want something more polished and artistic, this is it. Maison Crivelli really nailed that balance between cozy and refined. I wore it out at night and got compliments pretty fast, which almost never happens to me lol. Lasted around 7-8 hours on my skin and even longer on clothes. Honestly 5/5, no notes.
This one really surprised me because I usually don’t go crazy for fig, but here it’s beautiful. The fig adds this velvety, slightly green creaminess that works so well with the sandalwood. Then the myrrh gives it a soft resin glow in the drydown that keeps it from feeling too basic. I keep sniffing my wrist when I wear this, which is always a good sign. It smells rich in that effortless Guerlain way. Not flashy like BR540, not rosey like Delina, just smooth woody luxury. I think this works dressed up or casual, and it feels super unisex to me. Lasting power is very solid, especially on fabric.
I really like this one. On me it opens a little spicy with cardamom, then turns into this smooth sandalwood/fig thing that feels super polished without being boring. The oud is there but don’t expect a dark barnyard moment at all, it’s more of a soft woody backbone. Kinda gives me that expensive hotel lobby vibe, but warmer and more wearable. My only small issue is that it sits closer to the skin after a couple hours, so I wish it pushed a bit more. Still, I get around 6-7 hours easy and the drydown is gorgeous. Def one of the easier luxury woods to wear.
This is nice, just not wow. I get a soft cardamom opening and then it turns into creamy sandalwood with a little dry myrrh in the background. The whole thing feels polished and expensive like you'd expect from Guerlain, but tbh it never really grabs me. I kept waiting for some twist or something more memorable and it just stayed smooth and quiet. Not bad at all, just a bit too safe for the price. Performance is decent, around 5-6 hours on me, but projection sits pretty close after the first hour. Easy to wear, classy, but I wouldn't call it a must-try unless you really love understated woods.
If you usually avoid oud, this is a pretty safe entry point. What I get most is creamy sandalwood with a little myrrh in the background making it feel resinous and slightly smoky. It’s refined, kind of quiet, and honestly very Guerlain. Not a beast, not trying to be. I love that it smells rich without going full BR540 sweetness or Middle Eastern oud bomb. The downside? For the price, I wanted a bit more wow. It’s very good, just not mind-blowing. But when I’m in the mood for a classy woody scent that won’t choke people out, this hits.
Kinda disappointed tbh. I was hoping for a creamy sandalwood moment with some soft fig sweetness, but on my skin it turns into this muddy woody blur really fast. The cardamom in the opening is nice for like 10 minutes, then it just feels flat and oddly dusty. There’s also something in the middle that reads a little synthetic to me, which makes the whole thing less smooth than I expected from Guerlain. Performance isn’t terrible, but it sits pretty close to the skin after an hour or two, so it’s not even giving me that rich cozy aura. For the price, this feels underwhelming and a bit lifeless.
Tbh I expected way more from this. The opening has a cute apricot-bergamot thing for like five minutes, then it just turns into a blurry floral-powdery cloud that feels weirdly unfinished. I was hoping the iris would give it something elegant and creamy, but on my skin it reads more dry and slightly synthetic than luxe. Not ugly, just kinda boring and messy at the same time, which is a bad combo. For a Guerlain, this really didn’t wow me. Projection stays pretty close and the whole thing feels thin after the opening. I don’t hate it, but for the price? Def disappointed.
