This is decent, just not super exciting to me. Sauvage Extrait feels darker and smoother than the regular versions, with that cedarwood and vetiver giving it a clean woody vibe, plus a tiny oud-ish depth in the background. It smells good, no doubt, and it’s easy to wear, but for the price I expected something with more personality. Performance is solid on my skin, around 7 hours, but projection isn’t crazy. If you already like Sauvage, you’ll probably enjoy this. I just don’t think it’s different enough to be a must-have.

This could’ve easily been too much, but it’s balanced so well. The vanilla is rich, the rum gives it a sexy little edge, and the musk keeps it smooth on skin. It’s sweet, yes, but not juvenile at all. I wouldn’t wear it to the gym or office maybe, but for nights out? Amazing. It has that addictive quality where you catch whiffs and go wow, that’s me. Really beautiful stuff from Sora Dora.
Mandorle Extrait smells super luxe to me. The tonka and cacao combo is so smooth, almost creamy, but there’s this woody softness underneath that makes it feel polished instead of just edible. I usually get bored with sweet perfumes fast, but this one has depth. It kinda gives “quiet rich” gourmand, if that makes sense. Not loud in a screechy way, just present and beautiful. I wore it to dinner and kept smelling my sleeve all night.
This is honestly gorgeous. I get this thick vanilla with rum right away, but it’s not that cheap candle vanilla at all. It feels plush, warm, and kinda addictive, like dessert in a leather chair lol. The suede note keeps it from going too sugary, which I really appreciate. Performance is excellent on me too, easily 8+ hours and people noticed it without me overspraying. If you like cozy gourmands but want something more grown up, def try this.
The opening is pretty, but the drydown is where this really wins me over. That guaiac wood and vanilla combo is insane — warm, smooth, a little smoky, but still soft and elegant. It doesn’t smell like every other rose-vanilla perfume either, which I appreciate. Very feminine but not overly sweet. I got two compliments the first time I wore it, and one person asked if it was niche. Yep, it smells that good. Totally worth the hype to me.
New York 5th Avenue smells like quiet luxury. Not loud, not trying too hard, just really well blended. I mostly get rose, musk, and a soft woody base that feels cashmere-smooth. It kinda reminds me of the vibe of Delina if Delina grew up, got calmer, and started wearing tailored coats. Nothing screechy here at all. Lasts ages on clothes and around 7 hours on skin. If you like refined feminine scents, this is an easy yes.

Tbh I tested this once and immediately wanted a bottle. It has that perfect balance of fresh bergamot up top and warm resin underneath, especially the benzoin. The amber drydown is gorgeous, kinda creamy and masculine but not old-school at all. I like that it feels grown up without smelling boring. If you want something clean but with depth, this is it. Lasted through a full workday on my skin and was still on my shirt the next morning.
Paradigme Le Parfum smells like wearing a black cashmere sweater with a nice watch lol. Super smooth, slightly resinous, and very Prada. I mostly get benzoin and amber after the first 20 minutes, with a subtle woody base that keeps it from becoming too sweet. It’s not trying to be weird or edgy, it’s just extremely well blended. Projection is noticeable but not annoying, which I appreciate. This is the kind of scent people lean in to smell.
Honestly this might be one of my favorite Prada releases in a while. The opening has a bright bergamot thing, but it doesn’t stay fresh for long before the amber and guaiac wood come in. The drydown is the best part, cozy and smooth but still very put together. I can see this working at the office if you go light, but also on a date because it has that soft sexy warmth. Nothing screechy or synthetic to my nose.
Cavort is okay, but for Fragrance Du Bois prices I expected more tbh. I mostly get saffron, sandalwood, and a bit of incense, with this warm spicy thing that feels polished but kinda familiar. The caramel is there, but the cashmere wood makes it feel soft and fuzzy, almost like a really expensive sweater. Projection is strong for the first few hours, then it sits closer but still lasts forever on clothes. Tbh this is one of those perfumes that makes me feel instantly put together. 5/5 easy.
This is one of those perfumes that just smells expensive from the first spray. The bergamot opening is fresh and bright, then the rose comes in really soft and pretty. What I love most is that it never turns powdery or sharp on me. The musk makes it clean but still sensual, like fresh skin with money lol. I’d wear this to work, brunch, a wedding, basically anywhere I want to smell put together. Beautiful stuff.
