Matsukita is such a vibe. I get nutmeg, balsam fir, and amber mostly, and it gives this warm forest-lounge feeling… like cashmere sweater, cold air, very expensive hotel lobby. It’s not sweet or trendy, which I really appreciate. Kinda reminds me of the elegance of something like Roja, but less dramatic and more wearable. The blend is insanely smooth, no scratchy woods or harsh spice. Projection is moderate but it lasts forever on my skin. 5/5 because I’d wear this anywhere I wanted to feel put together.
This is a 5/5 for me because it just feels confident. The woodsy notes are deep but not dry, the pink pepper adds lift, and the musk makes it skin-like in the best way. It’s unisex to my nose and honestly would smell amazing on anyone. I wouldn’t call it playful or sweet, it’s more calm, sharp, and expensive. Perfect for meetings, dinners, travel, whatever. Lasts all day on my jacket too. If you like classy niche scents, def try this.

I got two compliments wearing it, both from people who usually don’t care about perfume. Expensive? Yeah obviously. But tbh it smells like it.

The opening is bright with bergamot, but the drydown is where it gets amazing: creamy sandalwood, soft musk, and this dark cherry warmth in the background. It’s elegant but still fun, not stiff or old-fashioned at all. I can see both men and women pulling this off easily. It’s strong enough to feel luxurious but never suffocating. Price is wild, obviously, but if you want something that feels special, this delivers.
Hedonistic is the right name tbh. This feels indulgent in the best way. I mostly get black cherry, tonka, and a little leather, and the combo is just chef’s kiss. Sweet but not childish, dark but not too intense. It has that rich niche smell where everything feels blended instead of note-by-note. I wore it to dinner and got two compliments before dessert, so yeah, it performs. Not an everyday dumb reach for me, more like when I want to feel extra put together.

The balsam fir is there but it’s not Christmas candle territory at all, more clean green resin with smooth woods underneath. There’s also a musky warmth that keeps it from being too sharp. Honestly one of the most balanced woody scents I’ve tried. Projection isn’t beast mode, but it’s present and classy, which fits the vibe. I’d wear this anytime I want to feel put together.
