Ambrosia del Deserto is gorgeous, tbh. It smells like a golden sunset in a bottle. I get a lot of candied date and rose, with a little citrusy blood orange in the beginning that makes it pop. It’s sweet, but not childish at all. More like grown-up, dressed-up sweetness. I wore it to dinner and kept catching whiffs from my scarf hours later. This is absolutely a date night scent, but I’d wear it just because too.
This is honestly stunning. I was scared the candied date would make it too sticky, but nope, it’s rich and smooth, almost like dried fruit in a fancy dessert. The rose is velvety and the blood orange gives it this bright opening that makes it feel alive. Kinda reminds me of those luxe Middle Eastern rose perfumes, but more polished and less loud. Performance is great too, strong but not obnoxious. 5/5 for me.

Then the candied date comes in and makes everything warm and syrupy in the best way. It feels expensive without screaming. On me it lasts like 8+ hours and leaves a gorgeous trail. Def one of Gucci’s more special releases.
This is such a beautiful comfort scent. The cream note is the star for me, but the sandalwood keeps it from becoming too milky or childish. It’s warm, clean, and a little mysterious, like freshly moisturized skin under a fancy wool coat. I wouldn’t call it sexy in a loud way, more like quietly magnetic. Projection is moderate but longevity is great on my clothes. Honestly one of those perfumes that makes me feel calm and expensive.

The mystery note gives it a strange little twist, like there’s something powdery/skin-like hiding underneath. It smells intimate but still noticeable, and I got two compliments the first day wearing it. Very smooth, very wearable, very Penhaligon’s. Expensive, yes, but I’d actually pay for this one.
The Manoeuvres of the Baroness smells like someone rich who doesn’t need to prove it. Creamy, woody, super refined. I mainly get sandalwood with this silky creaminess around it, almost like fancy body cream but much more interesting. It’s not sweet like Delina or loud like BR540, it’s more understated and classy. Performance is really solid too, maybe 6-8 hours. I’d wear this to dinner, work, literally anywhere I want to feel put together.
