This is one of those perfumes that makes you smell like you have your life together lol. The citrus is bright but not sharp, and the musk gives it this soft clean skin vibe that I’m obsessed with. It’s not sexy in a heavy date-night way, more like freshly showered in a fancy hotel way. I get compliments mostly from people standing close, which I actually like. Super easy to wear anywhere, especially work or daytime. If you like fresh scents but hate generic aquatic stuff, try this.
I love this way more than I expected. Thé Impérial has that super clean citrus sparkle at the start, but it doesn’t smell like basic lemon cologne at all. It’s soft, airy, and expensive-smelling, with a really smooth musk underneath. Honestly this is the kind of scent I’d wear when I want to seem put together with zero effort. Not loud, not trying too hard, just quietly gorgeous. Performance is better than I thought too, around 6-7 hours on my skin, mostly close but noticeable. Easy 5/5 for me.
La Favorite is nice, but I don’t feel super excited by it. On me it’s mostly soft vanilla and tonka with a clean white musk thing underneath, kinda warm and powdery but not very bold. The Queen of the Night flower gives it a slightly floral vibe, but it’s not as dramatic as the name makes it sound lol. It feels elegant enough for dinner or cooler weather, but also a bit safe and generic. Performance is decent, maybe 5-6 hours, with pretty soft projection after the first hour. I’d wear it if I had a sample, but wouldn’t rush to buy a bottle.
