This is very Dior in that polished, grown-up way. I get mostly black currant and woods, with a little mandarin sparkle early on. It’s not loud or trendy, which I actually appreciate, but I do wish it had more personality in the drydown. After maybe 5-6 hours it sits close to skin on me. Still, it smells expensive and clean without being boring. Def something I’d wear to work or lunch, not really a party perfume.
I really like this one. Dune Dioriginals feels like warm skin after being outside all day, but with this nice little lift from mandarin at the start. The woody notes are smooth, not scratchy, and the black currant gives it a tiny fruity bite without going full sweet shampoo. It’s elegant in a very relaxed way, like linen shirt energy. My only issue is it gets a bit vague after a few hours, kinda blends into a soft woody haze. Still super wearable and pretty.
I wanted to like this more because I usually enjoy Dior’s softer stuff, but Dune Dioriginals is just okay for me. The black currant gives it a slightly tart fruity edge, then it turns woody and a bit dusty. Not bad dusty, more like an older perfume counter vibe. The mandarin is there but fades fast. I can see someone loving this if they want something calm and not sweet, but it doesn’t feel very memorable. Lasting power is alright, projection is mild. A 3/5 for me: wearable, classy-ish, but nothing exciting.

Diorella Dioriginals is just beautiful. It has this breezy bitter-green thing from the oakmoss, then the vetiver makes it crisp and dry. The cumin is subtle but important, it gives the whole scent a sexy lived-in feel without being obvious. I’d wear this when I want to smell expensive but not like I’m trying too hard. Projection isn’t beast mode, but people nearby will notice, and it clings to clothes nicely. It’s elegant, weird, fresh, and totally addictive. Def one of Dior’s gems.
