Cavort smells like money lol. Not in a flashy BR540 clone way, more like a warm spicy woody fragrance that feels super put together. The cinnamon is soft and classy, not sweet pastry cinnamon, and the patchouli gives it a bit of depth without going earthy basement. I wore this to dinner and kept catching little whiffs from my jacket all night. It lasted forever on clothes too. It’s pricey, yeah, but tbh this one actually smells like a niche luxury perfume to me.
I know people love to hate on Sauvage because it’s popular, but this Extrait is genuinely amazing. It smells premium from start to finish. The vetiver keeps it sharp and clean, while the oud and woods make it darker and more mature. Not as aggressive as Elixir, not as loud as the EDT, just really well blended. It kinda gives luxury department store vibes, in a good way. Great performance, great trail, and super easy to wear. If you want one high-end masculine scent, this is a safe blind buy imo.
Man this is good. Sauvage Extrait smells like someone took the original and gave it a black suit. The opening is smooth and fresh-ish, but it quickly turns woody and slightly smoky. I mostly pick up cedarwood and a clean oud vibe, nothing animalic or challenging. It’s masculine without being basic, and I’ve had two people ask what I was wearing the same day. Lasts forever on clothes too. I wouldn’t overspray because it has presence, but with 2-3 sprays it’s perfect.
I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do tbh. Sauvage Extrait is so smooth compared to the others. The vetiver gives it that clean masculine bite, but the oud underneath makes it feel richer and warmer. It’s not some crazy niche oud bomb, don’t worry, it’s very wearable. I get a lot of cedarwood in the drydown and it smells classy as hell. This is the one I’d wear on a date or nice dinner. Expensive, yeah, but honestly it smells like it.
If you like sweet ambers, try this ASAP. Goddess Amber Vanilla smells creamy, golden, and kinda comforting, like lavender tea with a drizzle of maple syrup, but make it perfume. It doesn’t feel cheap or syrupy at all, which was my main worry. I actually prefer this over a lot of trendy vanilla scents because it has more personality and feels less copy-paste. Lasted about 8 hours on my hoodie and even longer on fabric. Easy 5 stars, I’d buy a big bottle.
Tbh this is one of the best Burberry releases in a while. The amber is so smooth and warm, and the lavender gives it this clean little lift so it doesn’t turn too heavy. I don’t get a ton of syrup at first, but after 20 minutes this soft maple sweetness comes through and it’s addictive. It’s not a beast mode club scent, but it lasts all day close-ish to the skin with a nice scent bubble. Really beautiful and easy to love.

Some spicy scents get harsh on my skin, but this stays smooth from start to finish. It kinda reminds me of the vibe of a niche amber fragrance, but more refined and less sweet. Definitely not a blind buy because the price is wild, but if you like elegant spicy woods, you need to sample it. Absolute stunner.

It’s not a basic crowd-pleaser like BR540 or Aventus-type stuff, it has more personality. Lasts all day on clothes and leaves a really nice trail. 5/5 for me, easy.

The saffron gives it that slightly leathery expensive edge that I’m obsessed with. It’s not a safe blind buy if you only like freshies, but if you like warm mysterious scents, wow. My partner immediately asked what I was wearing. Projection is strong for the first few hours then settles beautifully.

This one hits different. I’ve owned the EDT and Elixir, and while those are good, the Extrait feels the most balanced to me. It has the Sauvage DNA but the cedar and vetiver make it cleaner, darker, and less screechy. The oud is there but blended so well that it just adds depth instead of taking over. Projection is strong for the first few hours then sits closer, which I actually like. Super versatile too, I’d wear this to work, dinner, whatever. 5/5 for me.
This is easily my favorite Sauvage. It still has that familiar clean Dior vibe, but the Extrait feels darker, smoother, and way more expensive. Performance is excellent on me, around 8-10 hours, and people def notice it. If the EDT is loud club energy, this is the grown man version.
This was an instant yes for me. It smells like warm amber and sweet lavender wrapped in a cashmere sweater. The maple syrup is there but it’s not sticky or foodie in a gross way, just cozy and slightly gourmand. I wore two sprays to work and got asked what I was wearing by someone in the elevator, so yeah, it projects nicely. It feels classy but still sexy, like something you’d wear on a casual date and feel effortlessly put together.

Not gonna lie, I thought this would be another fancy woody-spicy fragrance that smells nice but boring. Nope. Cavort has a real vibe. The davana gives it this slightly boozy, fruity-herbal edge that makes the cinnamon and woods feel alive. It’s warm and sensual but not sweet in a childish way. More grown, more confident. I’d wear this with a black outfit, leather jacket, dinner plans… you get it. Longevity is excellent on me, easily 9 hours. Expensive yes, but this is one I’d actually save up for.

I mostly get smooth woods, especially cedarwood, with a bit of earthy vetiver keeping it from being too sweet or basic. The oud is there but very polished, almost silky. I wore this to dinner and got two compliments, which never happens with some of my more “interesting” fragrances lol. It’s pricey, yeah, but honestly the quality and performance make it feel worth it.
