This is what I wanted a pistachio perfume to smell like. Sweet, nutty, creamy, but still polished. The caramel is noticeable but it doesn’t go burnt or sticky on me, and the musk keeps everything kinda airy. I wore it to dinner and got asked what I had on twice, so yeah… it works. It’s not a loud clubbing scent, but it has a really pretty trail. Honestly smells niche and addictive.
I’m usually picky with neroli because it can go too clean or bitter on me, but here it’s perfect. It opens fresh and slightly citrusy, then melts into musk and cedarwood in such a soft, creamy way. The whole thing feels airy but still warm, which is hard to pull off. Not beast mode, but the scent trail is beautiful and very refined. This is one of those perfumes where people ask what you’re wearing because it smells expensive, not because it’s choking them out.
This is gorgeous. The sandalwood and vanilla combo is ridiculously smooth, and the cinnamon adds this soft warmth that makes it addictive. It doesn’t smell like anything cheap or rushed, everything feels rounded and plush. Kinda reminds me of the feeling I get from Naxos, not the smell exactly, but that same luxurious sweet-warm aura. I wore it to dinner and kept catching little whiffs all night. Easy 5/5 for me, I’d honestly wear this year round.
I’m obsessed with how balanced this is. The pistachio is the star for me, but the caramel and vanilla make it feel creamy instead of dry or powdery. I mostly get mineral notes and bergamot, with a bit of mossy softness in the drydown. It feels like grey skies over the ocean, very clean but not cold. Tbh it’s one of the few Jo Malone scents I think is totally worth it because it has a mood, not just a pretty smell. Lasting power is decent too.

Late Lunch is nice in that very Byredo minimalist way, but I’m not losing my mind over it. Opens with a bright mandarin/lemon thing, then gets a little salty and woody from the cedar. It smells clean, airy, and easy to wear, like a fancy hotel lobby in summer. My issue is it doesn’t really go anywhere after the first 20 minutes. Pleasant for sure, but also a bit thin and overpriced for what it is. Performance is okay-ish, maybe 5-6 hours but pretty close to skin. I’d wear it to work, not buy a full bottle.

Gibeon smells like a golden, creamy cloud to me. I mostly get vanilla, tonka bean, and a soft woody base, with just enough spice to keep it from being boring. It’s sweet but not dessert-sweet, more like expensive cashmere sweater sweet. Tbh this is exactly the kind of fragrance I want to wear when I want to smell rich without screaming for attention. Projection is solid for the first few hours, then it sits closer but still lasts all day.

This is a 5/5 for me. The cinnamon is soft and warm, not harsh at all, and the vanilla blends so nicely with the woods. I love that it feels luxurious but still easy to wear. Some Xerjoffs can be a bit too much for me, but Gibeon is smooth from start to finish. It has great presence without choking people out. I wore it to work and then drinks after, and it worked for both. Super versatile niche gem.
