This is such a classy scent! The amber and black currant give it this sophisticated vibe. I feel like I can wear it anywhere—a dinner date or even just running errands. It’s floral but not overly feminine, which I appreciate. The projection is pretty solid too; I can smell it on myself throughout the day. Totally worth it!
Okay, don’t get me wrong, Sauvage smells great with that nice peppery twist, but it feels pretty common. I mean, everyone seems to have it. Still, it’s a solid choice for everyday wear. The ambroxan makes it last pretty well, around 6-7 hours, but I wish it had a bit more character to stand out. Great for newcomers to fragrance though!
Tbh, I was a bit let down! While the apple and ginger opening is nice, the dry down with all the woody notes is just not my vibe. It projects well at first, but then it gets kinda close to the skin. I really wanted to love it since everyone raves about it, but I think I’ll stick to something more floral. Still worth a try if you like fresh scents!
